they're actually real sturdy. You could beat a capitalist to death with one.

they're actually not at all, I got a wire stock on my VZ that doesn't look as bad. It's actually very sturdy.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this thread has been through it and I know they aren't flimsy
they just look really unsound and I would much prefer a solid stock
I just hate how I can never get a good cheekweld on them
Also the one I have is so goddamn short it's rediculous
The very first time I shot it I had my face too close to the receiver and it punched me in the mouth

pretty much all soviet stocks are shorter and smaller when in comparison to NATO stocks.

All this ak love.. Where are my extra boss barreled, big scoped operator ar's specially designed for the sole purpose of shooting people's dicks off from a mile away, all the while being prepared to operate all over anyone who decides to get smart and sneak up on you.
Seriously ar's plox

Here, let me make up for it with a two-in-one AR.

The Silver Shadow Gilboa Snake.
I personally think it looks cool.
But how would the iron sights on that work?

all shots will be slightly left or right of your zero
[editline]4th August 2013[/editline]
left and right*
It looks good for what it is.
I wonder if it fires both barrels at the same time or alternates left and right?
I wonder if it fires both barrels at the same time or alternates left and right?
there's only one trigger. if it doesn't alternate, it's legally a machine gun
I wonder if it fires both barrels at the same time or alternates left and right?

Silver Shadow has officially unveiled the double barreled AR-15 I blogged about last month. The Gilboa Snake has two barrels that are fired simultaneously, essentially double tapping on a single trigger pull. It will be available in both semi-automatic (two rounds per trigger pull) or full auto. The rifle, with its two 9.5″ barrels, weighs 9.4 lbs.
the "semi-auto" version will be illegal to any american civilian without a class 3, and i bet silver shadow doesn't even realize this.
[editline]4th August 2013[/editline]
these interesting guns like the 2011 pistol and the like really make me wish burst fire was a different classification than a "machine gun", making it a middle ground between class 3 bullshit and average everyday semi-autos.
the double AR is a bad idea anyways.
Alright then, have a double Remmy instead:

but then people would simply create ars with a 30 rounds burst
[editline]5th August 2013[/editline]
does anyone have that picture of the fucking beautiful fal with the folding stock and the manual with "light assault rifle"
you all know what picture i'm talking about.
I can't find it anymore and it hasn't been posted in the last 5 pages, it should be on the first post of every page
but then people would simply create ars with a 30 rounds burst
with new classifications comes new regulations. these regulations could be a limit on a maximum number of rounds per burst.
all hypothetical, but still
Yeah sure, but you know that it would be very hard to regulate and there would be lots of ways to bypass the system.
Found the FAL by the way

lolwhat? no it wouldn't? it would be easy as titties to regulate. All you have to do is classify a burst firearms as a firearm that fires more than one round per pull of a trigger, but does not exceed a certain amount of rounds fired. After that you just put in regulations concerning them, like saying a burst firearm can't fire more than 2 bullets per pull of the trigger. BAM DONE.
You have to keep in mind that the ATF can do whatever the fuck it decides it wants to do, no matter how stupid it is. Whether it be burning down a church in Wako Texas, or:

classifying a shoestring as a machine gun.
I'm not a huge fan of automatic weapons. I see so many automatic rifles now that they all just look the same to me now. Not so much that I'd be as dumb as a news reporter and call everything an ay kay foddy sevve.
I really like semi-auto and manual-action weapons. It gives you a chance to make every round count, it gives you more control over the weapon. And I think manual-action weapons are awesome. Bolt action, pump action, lever action, break action, the cocking back of a revolver hammer, etc. I think a manual-action thing just makes a gun classy.
I think the Armsel Striker (i think that's the name of it?) is one of the coolest looking guns out there

It looks almost retro-futuristic to me. Hell, it's probably been used as some sort of prop in a sci-fi movie at some point.
Yeah, that's one of the names it went by, there was also a later model called the protecta, a licensed copy called the Striker-12, and the one you posted appears to be a Cobray Street Sweeper, which was a clone of it.
They were also used to make the fake Jackhammers in Total Recall, the original one that is, the remake didn't have fake Jackhammers, or shotguns of any description I believe.

Like bumpfiring? Oh no, all my semi-autos are now illegal.
Hey thread, how do you feel about the fictional MX rifle from Arma 3
I think it looks pretty feasible.
And it fires 6.5 ~caseless~ rounds
And it fires 6.5 ~caseless~ rounds
most weapons in arma 3 fire caseless ammo, that's pretty cool.
although it was probably because some guy went "I can't be fucked modeling all the brass, can't we just get rid of the empty cartridges altogether?" :v:
