Looks like an ACR and SCAR bastard child to me
Looks a hell of a lot better than the last caseless attempt, you don't need to be a clockmaker to clear a failed round :v:
pretty much all soviet stocks are shorter and smaller when in comparison to NATO stocks.
Oh no, the stock is shorter than Warsaw Pact. I like Warsaw pact because I'm a little short prick, but the wire stock is even shorter.
lolwhat? no it wouldn't? it would be easy as titties to regulate. All you have to do is classify a burst firearms as a firearm that fires more than one round per pull of a trigger, but does not exceed a certain amount of rounds fired. After that you just put in regulations concerning them, like saying a burst firearm can't fire more than 2 bullets per pull of the trigger. BAM DONE.
You have to keep in mind that the ATF can do whatever the fuck it decides it wants to do, no matter how stupid it is. Whether it be burning down a church in Wako Texas, or:

classifying a shoestring as a machine gun.
lol shoelaces were invented to convert semi-automatic rifles into machine guns
It looks almost retro-futuristic to me. I'm sure it's probably been used as some sort of prop in a sci-fi movie at some point.
Funnily enough, someone already posted a pic of it masked as a sci-fi weapon in Total Recall in the thread not long ago;

Aren't those Pancor Jackhammers though? Or are they just dummies.
I'm not a huge fan of automatic weapons. I see so many automatic rifles now that they all just look the same to me now. Not so much that I'd be as dumb as a news reporter and call everything an ay kay foddy sevve.
I really like semi-auto and manual-action weapons. It gives you a chance to make every round count, it gives you more control over the weapon. And I think manual-action weapons are awesome. Bolt action, pump action, lever action, break action, the cocking back of a revolver hammer, etc. I think a manual-action thing just makes a gun classy.
because most automatic rifles don't have fire selectors right?
because most automatic rifles don't have fire selectors right?
I don't care much for rifles in general- the ones you're thinking of, anyhow.
[t]http://www.mcsports.com/sites/default/files/images/product-photos/1123157-MODEL-60-SEMIAUTO-RIFLE.jpg[/t]
This is a semi-auto rifle I like. Rifles like this with wood furnishing and the such are the ones that I can enjoy looking at, not the modern tactical stuff with downard-grips and other techy terms that I don't know.
I'm one of those people who prefers the looks of a "bland" M16A2 over all the accessories of an M4.
I'll take an optic, yeah, that'd be about it though.
I like old experimental rifles from the 50's and early 60's that have Bakelite on them.
Hey thread, how do you feel about the fictional MX rifle from Arma 3
I think it looks pretty feasible.
And it fires 6.5 ~caseless~ rounds

Every time I see pics of arma 3 the laptop on its way to my doorstep weeps.
I know I'll be Able to play it but still... That game is beautiful
Also I went to sports authority to buy more pellets for my clear plastic p226 and asked the cashier if they sold extra magazines. It took most of my will power not to slap him for referring to them as clips. Besides he was really helpful.

And... Kinda cute I guess
Aren't those Pancor Jackhammers though? Or are they just dummies.
No, they're just Strikers dressed up with what seems to be M203 grips, some sort of barrel jacket, and a handle made to look like a Jackhammer handle. Should be pretty obvious from what the magazine looks like, and more importantly, where it's located :v:

The reason they all that stuff that is apparently way over your head is because it's extremely efficient. Automatics in intermediate rounds, namely 5.56x45, is actually rather controllable in short burst, (thus the 3 round burst system we use!!!!)
Here, let me make up for it with a two-in-one AR.

See having two barrels on your ar is an advantage because we all know well ventilated bad guys assume room temperature quicker

I love an M16A1 with a 30 round STANAG

Fuckin' Matrix up in here
Playing Operation Flashpoint and America's Army as a kid made me fall in love with the M16A2.
Rifle length ARs>>>

P much the perfect AR setup IMO. The only thing I might add would be a vertical foregrip, but that would be it. No frills, no tactic00l, just a straight up rifle to fuck up someones day with. Or in my case, a piece of paper's day.

M16A4 is sexy as hell

I prefer the look of the Scar-H myself, though I fucking love the carrying handle on the AR series.

You can also tell just from the fact that they actually exist that they're not Jackhammers. Only like two of those things were even built.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the ArmA 3 MX based on the ACR and XCR?

I will always love M16A2 with M203s

Forget the M203,I just love the barrel grip.

Um, isn't that an A1?
The A2 looks like this:

Different carrying handles, among other things, but I do agree that heat shield looks sexy.

How about this. I dislike automatic guns because reasons. I don't know these reasons, and if i did you'd probably shoot them down and I would still find myself disliking them. They aren't my thing.

How can you know they're not your thing when you have absolutely zero experience with them, and I'm taking a big leap here, and actual firearms in general?
