Jagged alliance is also a sucks, so
my old scoutmaster has an automag, he fired it continuously until the mag was empty and said it was painful and he wouldnt do it again. its a shame they dont make the ammo for his model of automag anymore
God that's gotta be the most depressing paperweight ever...
I dunno the pain of having a great gun and no ammo for it is always depressing. From vidya gaems to irl

They still make the brass to reload it. The bullets used are exactly the same as the standard 357 magnum and 44 magnums. The only thing needed is the brass.
They should make a p90 chambered in a bigger round

Agreed.
Time for a tiny concealable pistol.

I've thought that a P90 in 7.62x25 Tokarev would be a fairly interesting piece.

i'm not sure if 7.62tok can feed like that.

Maybe it would have to be a tiny bit wider.
So I've been told you guys like bullpup AKs...

I'd play that game more if it wasn't buggy as hell
Also a p90 with a 762 round would be pretty sexy.
I mean as it stands IMO that five seven round is nice and all but you kinda have to hit your target ten times. And considering how the side with the p90 is probably the only side who also invested in body armor.
I mean the whole idea behind it is to be a compact armor piercing round... Thing is in modern conflict one side is going to have an 80 plus pound kit including all kinds of protection and weapons, while the other sides standard issue is a pair of high quality flip flops and an ak 47
[editline]10th August 2013[/editline]
The p90 would probably be the insurgents best friend if it was a lot cheaper and widely available

What an excellent bullpup kit. All the problems of an AK with all the problems of a bullpup combined into one. Couldn't ask for anything more of an AK bullpup.

Metro 2033 is hardly buggy and the AK-12 (that gun there) fires 5.45x39mm
well the real Ak-12 is also in 5.45 so yeah
I'm talking about last light but its funny you should say that because while last ligh may be buggy as hell 2033 is known for being buggy as hell
Also I never said the gun fires seven six two. Plus the future ak uses rounds that have rifle sized cartridges. The 762 in this p90 would be using smaller cartridges more suitable for a pistol. It would still be a sub machine gun. While that future ak is an assault rifle... So technically it's more like the p90 wanted to have an assault rifle for a child so it got fucked by an ak 102 and there you have the future Ak

Firstly, Neither metros are notoriously buggy, they're just very hard to run because the game is very demanding spec wise.
Secondly, please specify what 7.62 cartridge you're talking about, because there are a billion of them. I'm not sure if you're wanting a P90 rechambered to 7.62x38r, or to 7.62x63 (both of which would be stupid as fuck but knowing you....)

For some reason I can't edit my post, but what is that shotgun anyway?
Monolith Arms P12, sadly they never entered production.

Here's a promo video they released of it before they dropped off the face of the earth:

That was five years ago, and they were already a year behind their intended release date.

If you stopped underestimating me maybe you wouldn't constantly be calling me an idiot. And constantly see my words in what I can imagine is a retarded looking glaze to you.
The round itself would probably have to be designed from the ground up and probably wouldn't even be a seven six two bullet.
I mean did you even read my post? I specifically said that the round would be using a pistol sized cartridge, and thusly it would still be a sub machine gun because of it.
The problem I see with the p90 is the lack of stopping power in its rounds. I would probably give it my armchair stamp of approval as one of if not the best sub machine guns out there. The main problem though is that a sub machine gun needs to have ample stopping power, thusly why I think it would be more useful throwing a bigger slug. The weapon issued at short to medium ranges. At this range it's more crucial that your target goes down fast, rather than simply being an issue of hitting them, like how it is at long range.
And metro, for a linear shooter is pretty damn buggy. I think the possibility of the npcs of an entire chapter being able to bug out and freeze for no reason pretty god damn buggy.
I do have to agree on Metro being buggy, I have seen the AI glitch out and completely freeze on multiple occasions, in 2033 anyway, haven't tried Last Light (PC can't handle it).

I was asking for specific specifications on your 7.62 pistol round, because there is still more than 1. The point of the P90 and 5.7x28 isn't to have supreme stopping power, it's meant to pierce body armor.
That may not be the intended point but really the intended point is kinda dumb in of itself.
What I see is a beautifully designed gun with more potential if it could be chambered in other rounds. If body armor was more prevalent amongst the aggressors the p90 is used upon I wouldn't be thinking of this concept.
[editline]10th August 2013[/editline]
And also this isn't "my" seven six two round. Someone merely suggested that it be chambered in tokarev and it stuck. I don't think I initially ever mentioned a specific caliber, only that it be a bigger one
And my stance on the round having to be designed from the ground up still stands. This mystery bullet has no dimensions in my mind, just want to clear that up?
Whenever I see those giant walls of text in this thread and all the dumb ratings I know what time it is.
Time to scroll to the bottom of the page beyond all the bullshit and post some sexy shit.
