isn't all that extra wood just to add weight so the gun doesn't wobble as easily? kinda weird cars I know the guns they use for the ski I thing in the Olympics are made of ultra light materials and are completely stripped of everything unnessisary

Do you have club hands or something? That grip would fit the contours of your hand perfectly, thats what i's designed to do. The grip is more of a glove than anything else. You slide your hand into it and put your index and thumb through the top groove, then your middle, ring, and pinky through the bottom groove.

Sport pistol grips aren't a hard concept to grasp.

As far as prototypes go, I see the MP5 PIP, SMG I & II, what looks like an MP5SD without the silencer?

Now i'm sad that I'll never get to fondle a G11 or XM8. I wonder if they have a H&K museum anywhere so I can at least go drool at things behind glass.

i'm trying to find a picture of a more-than-slightly ridiculous looking gun.

i remember it being futuristic looking, with an under-barrel revolver-type thing, a flip up yellow plastic optic with the majority of the gun being the two curved magazine/shield things that curve from the barrel all the way back to the stock.

i cannot find it no matter how hard i google, does anyone know of what i'm talking about? it's a photo of a prop/ well rendered 3d model, it's not an illustration.

as for 'content' i was showing a friend my superimposed revolver rifle idea, and his instant criticism was that it's paint job was "sah american army" (i gave it a sensibly-coloured all-rounder pixel-pattern camo)

i insisted this design might better fit his bombastic, brightly colored and slightly weeaboo idea of futuristic weaponry.
