Seriously, that's what it does, it was designed to use what's called a Duplex round: 0:40 Two bullets in one case.

I think the designation was the Type 1944/45. Some info: http://world.guns.ru/rifle/autoloading-rifles/usa/self-loading-rifle-pedersen-e.html Also a Type 5. [t]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5197/7001194770_d8e7cc25bc_o.jpg[/t] These two fire .22LR rounds, currently the hardest ammo type to find in stores.
That kind of defeats the purpose of having such a large rifle, considering .22 lr has virtually no recoil.
I think "the purpose" in this case is that they look like an M82 and an M200. Also they're built from a Ruger 10/22, a Marlin XT-22, and two airsoft frames, so I doubt they could handle a large round anyhow. Probably aren't nearly as heavy as the real things either.
Bit late now, but since page 94 seemed to be dedicated entirely to Sci-Fi guns:
Hey, guys. Guess what [t]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5521/9543830582_abb86273a2_k.jpg[/t]
Although the Katana's probably the most practical sword, it's really only the second coolest sword. [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/50/Scottish_claymore_replica_(Albion_Chieftain)2.jpg[/img_thumb] This is the coolest sword i can think of.

That Claymore there is not only extremely awesome, but the more practical of the two.

The most practical weapon to him would have been a shield or a pole arm.
i'm about to be a stupid nerd but i loved every single weapon presented in elysium, especially this while the idea is outrageous and impractical (surface-to-orbit anti-air launcher) it's quad barrel and boxy and therefore sexy
Elysium had some fucking OUTSTANDING "Futuristic weapons" (don't even get me started about the fucking rail/bolt-gun). I'm bummed we didn't get to see more of the arsenal in action.
mmmmmmm nothing like the sound of a spent 54r casing smacking pavement.

It can't be all that accurate though, considering how high that scope is raised over the barrell.
The Ammoland signature is kind of annoying, but anyway here, the Ruger 77/357 bolt-action rifle. [editline]19th August 2013[/editline] Axe rifle.
It can't be all that accurate though, considering how high that scope is raised over the barrell.
I haven't seen the movie either, but AFAIK that's some sort of micro air-burst system thingamajig. Plus, it doesn't really matter how high up the sight is as long as it's zeroed correctly.
But you can't zero a sight on all ranges. That's why it's not very practical.
Here, have a 5.56 pistol. [t]http://www.gunlistings.org/uploads/l1_pistols_keltec_plr16_.223_pistol_69724.jpg[/t] [editline] today [/editline] Best part is that the MSRP on this is $665, which kinda pisses me off, because i bought a Beretta M9 for $720 from a pawn shop a few years ago.
But you can't zero a sight on all ranges. That's why it's not very practical.
You can't zero any sight on all ranges. That's why most iron sights are adjustable, as with optical sights, like reflex sights.
haven't seen the movie yet, but this sight and laser getup is pretty fucking cool
I just saw it yesterday. What is does is it finds the range to the target and arms timer on the explosive-tipped ammo to detonate just before it reaches the enemy, pelting them with hot shrapnel.
It can't be all that accurate though, considering how high that scope is raised over the barrell.
I would assume that the sight can automatically zero itself since its the future and stuff.

the M1E5 Garand disgusting, yet beautiful at the same time
