Isn't that Quake or it applies to UT too?
Bunny hopping is mostly Quake engine games, but nearly all arena shooters have rocket jumping and jumping is generally a faster way to move.

Had something like this happen to me before. Had a bumpfire stock on my AKM and was firing it under an awning with a post right next to me. I let rip a 15 round burst and every piece of brass bounced off the post and half of them landed in my shirt. And thats the story of how I got burned in 8 different places while dancing like a lunatic wielding an AKM.
I did that to someone by accident.
We were all shooting a CMP match and we were in the prone shooting sighting shots between stages.
The kid next to me was rather large and had severe plumbers crack going on even when in the prone.
I happened to be shooting my Garand that match; I saw in my periphery the 30-06 brass fly out of my gun and land in his ass crack. I never saw him move so fast...he was dancing and yelling...
The flak cannon is hands down my favourite shotgun-like weapon ever. It has this nice touch of needless cruelty, you're not just shooting a guy, you're ripping him to shreds with hot shrapnel.
Whoever designed the weapons for Unreal and the UT series should get an award, never have I seen such endlessly entertaining weapon design.

Anyone else like the pistol in Dishonored?
it almost looks like a steampunk (whalepunk?) version of Deckard's gun
On the topic of Mercs a couple pages back..
I could only see them guarding transport ships near Africa.
They should be left out of goverment operations imo..
In all technicality, Blackwater(or whatever their name is now) and other PMC companies are not mercenary groups. It's illegal for just about every 1st world country for them to hire mercenaries, Geneva convention says it's a no-no, and the US has laws against it. Theres an exemption within this law that allows the US to hire armed security guards that may use deadly force in self defense only. But this is where the line blurs for PMC's, if the person whom gave them the contract deems it necessary for lethal force to be used, that is considered to be self defense; and thats why PMC's have a real bad reputation for civilian deaths in Iraq.
PMC's mostly operates as security, guarding roads and power plants or even unarmored US military convoys, typically carrying supplies. They're not to be used to go on missions to destroy enemy infrastructure or combatants, their purpose is to be over glorified security guards that see a lot more action than the ones at your local walmart.
In all technicality, the French Foreign Legion and the Gurkha brigades are mercenary groups, they're just exempt under the Geneva convention because they serve directly under their respective nations' military.
People exaggerate the role of PMCs. There are less than a thousand soldiers working for Academi. It's far from Tom Clancy novels where PMCs have their own fleets and aircraft and such.

yeah, Academi does mostly training and consulting work now-a-days

Every gun with a squarish slide is a glock clone.
Every gun with a squarish slide is a glock clone.
Hi-Point is not a Glock clone...
Its a Black&Decker clone...

slides reminds me of 5-7/CZ75 and frame reminds me of XDM

The slide reminds me more of an early Glock, or maybe an HK P7:

but I do agree the frame looks like an XD series with the grip safety removed.

I just said Dubai cause it's the first city that popped into my head when I thought about the UAE. I really don't know where any of their factories or designers are located.
Playing lots of EVE lately.
I like sniping stuff with these.

Also carbines from the Napoleonic Era.

I would love to take a really ornate replica musket frame and put the workings of a lever or bolt action rifle in it. That would be a cool looking hybrid.
I was watching Iron Man 3

tony stark literally brought an airsoft gas pistol to a real gun fight
Using gas powered airsoft pistols is probably a lot cheaper than using actual pistols with blanks, a lot less risky too. You're 100% less likely to have a brandon-lee incident happen if you use airsoft guns.
Looks more like a flip-phone to me.

Normally I would agree, but we live in 2013, not 2003. Tony stark is not going to be using a flip phone in his futuristic-ass version of 2013.

I was watching a show called alphas recently and spotted an orange tip. It's like they aren't even trying.
It is a syfy original thing though...
