Of all the guns you could choose to criticize, the Uzi is probably one of the most unassailable. It was good enough for everyone from the IDF to the Secret Service. A grip safety is perfect for what it was used for- quickly drawing from a concealed position. It also has the added benefit of immediately cutting fire if the shooter loses control of the weapon.

It also popularized the telescoping bolt assembly, which is kind of a big deal for modern subguns. Israel is a country constantly under threat, if there's one thing they know how to build it's weapons. There may be better weapons out there nowadays but the Uzi family definitely has its place in history.

KSG has a retail price of $800, but most stores or people that have them are selling them for double or triple.

Hasn't this been posted before? And isn't that design outdated as well? I thought they upgraded the cheekrest, made the main rail monolithic, and ditched the gas block rails.

Why? They added rails, a thumb operable selector switch, and they moved the sights to the rear, its a true modernization of the AKM. Now if they would only add the recoil reduction system of the AK-107...
