Need some love for the Daimler Dingo its so cute
Is a S&W 19 for $400 a good price? My shop has one and it looks like it has seen better days. It has a pinned barrel, bores in the cylinder have black rings, and the rear sight has the left part broken off. It also has a hammer spur that looks fine. The cylinder has acceptable lock up. Just need to know your thoughts.

But I'd have a hard to paying $400 for a mateba that beat up.

It's a part kit, they had to remove the lower since it was fully automatic. You can still buy the rest and mount it on a semi auto lower.
They still destroyed a genuine full-auto receiver. Unacceptable.
They still destroyed a genuine full-auto receiver. Unacceptable.
[del]How do you know they destroyed it?[/del] Am dumb
Well it's cut in two places, that's pretty destroyed in my opinion.

It's easier to just import the parts kits because AK receivers are really easy to make (see: shovel AKM) and parts kits don't need to comply to 922r. It's not like theres been millions and millions and millions of full-auto AK-74's made over the years, plus the only real difference between a full auto AK-74 and a semi auto AK-74 a few extra holes in the receiver and a different trigger group. If it was soviet bloc, the lower was probably made of pot metal anyway and was mostly rusted away in storage because it was thrown in storage in 1992 after Mother Roosha stopped sending checks. If a demilled AK pisses you off, you'll off yourself after seeing these Galil Tokarev Suomi. lol the sumoi isn't even worth welding back together you can buy the receiver tubes for cheap.
what the fuck
AH-56 Cheyenne. An interesting tri-rotor helicopter; a main rotor and a tail rotor like you'd expect, but with a second, rear-pointing tail-rotor for added speed. Rather well armed, it'd have either a 40mm 'nade launcher or 7.62 Minigun in it's nose; and then a belly-mounted 30mm autocanon ala the Apache, but with 360 degrees of rotation. A more modern, way cool heli with the same underbelly-style gun is the KA-50-2 Erdogan. Made by Kamarov in cooperation with Israeli Areospace Industries for Turkey's search of a new attack helicopter. On the pic above, you can see the gun slung up sideways for it to be able to land without breaking it off. A better picture of it deployed down to firing position here: Pretty cool, pretty cool. It lost the contest.
Hey, so remember this abomination of a BAR? It's no longer the dumbest and ugliest BAR in existence! Enter, the "HCAR" [t]http://soldiersystems.net/blog1/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/HCAR-3.jpg[/t] The HCAR - standing for :frogcool: Heavy Combat Assault Rifle :frogcool: is the pinnacle of stuffing WWII guns into modern plastic stocks for absolutely no reason. Seriously, it looks like a generic Magpul stock or something. Way to needlessly modernize a previously cool looking and way outdated firearm! Gotta give it credit where it's due, though - it's not a mangled original BAR, but a modern manufactured copy (so I was actually wrong in a way, as I'm pretty sure the Jesse James BAR is actually made outta an original one, and thus remains the ugliest and dumbest), and it does weigh 12 lbs compared to the original's 20, and the furniture is 3D printed (using the laser sintering method - the same way they made that 3D printed metal 1911), so it's not just dumb and ugly, but still... why the hell would you need one? They only make semi-autos, and no military in the world would adopt a modernized BAR into service anyway, so the Combat designation is total bullshit. If you want a modern weapon, guess what, you can just get a modern assault rifle (with the added benefit of using ammo that doesn't actually cost an arm and a leg). If you want a BAR, the same company that made this also makes this, so you can, y'know, just get a BAR. It's just a weirdo mishmash of modern and old which just doesn't make sense.
I like it's look. If only the colour wasn't a mix between stan-sand and shit brown.
it'd be acceptable if it wasn't one color
Honestly, the design itself doesn't look too bad, sorta reminds me of the Galil ACE Only beefier, and since they're made off of reproduction BARs it's not "desecrating" anything historical. If anyone seriously wants a "modern" .30-06 semi-auto rifle it seems to fit the bill fairly well.

[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/18/Colt_Dragoon_2nd_Mod_1848.JPG[/img_thumb] The Colt Dragoon is one of the sexiest rugged revolvers (gives me an aesthetic megaboner)

If you're going hunting, you're probably just gonna pack a hunting rifle (also, don't most states have a round limit on hunting weapons? so that 30 round mag wouldn't do you any good anyway) and for all other purposes, lower calibers are both more convenient and cheaper. Unless you've got like a ginormous stash of .30-06 for whatever reason, I guess. But yeah, it's not ugly, it's just... unnecessary would be the best word, I guess.
It's the gun that will make sure .30-06 will return to it's glory.
Suomi.
I wish you'd stop referring to it as "Suomi" as "Suomi" is "Finland" in finnish, the gun is called KP/-31, or alternatively Suomi-konepistooli. Not "Suomi".
Smith and Wesson model 29 „the most powerful handgun in the world" [t]http://smith-wessonforum.com/members/paladin85020-albums-some-random-smith-wesson-photos-picture5162-indeed-big-iron-44-magnum-model-29-2-8-3-8-barrel.jpg[/t] seriously this thing is fucking smexy.
It's the gun that will make sure .30-06 will return to it's glory.
30-06 won't ever return to it's former glory because 7.62 nato is a thing
I wish you'd stop referring to it as "Suomi" as "Suomi" is "Finland" in finnish, the gun is called KP/-31, or alternatively Suomi-konepistooli. Surely by "light machine guns" they don't mean the weight of the gun..
