The Utility Remote Detonated Explosive Device, or UR-DED. Not only does it look cool, but you can make the AI freak out if you throw it, pick it up and then throw it again, since they dive out of the way every time.

I loved that thing, think I used it more than the combat rifle, it had good CQC but was less situational than the shotty, ammo was more common too.

Personally the design of it always reminded me of the HK54 (MP5 prototype) with the magazine and charging handle moved more in the style of an Uzi or MAC-10.

I used the pistol and the SMG far more than the combat rifle. I carried a PEPS I stole from the police place for almost the entire game and fired it a grand total of 4 times. Honestly, I think I could have easily beaten the game without touching the other weapons besides the pistol and SMG.
