They also used scopes similar to this one on tanks and other vehicles. Germany's main issue was that they attacked Russia and Declared war on the US around the same time. So their villages were being raped and oil fields burned on the eastern front, and they had to deal with US and British firebombing by B-17's on the western front. On top of all that, they were using slave labor for a lot of their productions. Panther's were pretty OK tanks, but they would have done a lot better if they didn't have slaves drilling holes in the road wheels and pissing in the oil and gasoline.
