Also, speaking of AR15s, I dunno why we don't see wooden stocks and grips all too often.
The whole point of the AR-15 and M-16 designs were to be modern and space age; meaning being made out of high tech (as of 1959) polymers and plastics where parts normally would be made out of aluminum and wood. A wood stock would defeat one of the main advantages of the platform. It would be like putting a ported barrel on a suppressed pistol. Looks neat but defeats the whole point of the gun. [editline]12th December 2013[/editline] And since wood stocks on AR's and M-16's have never been a standard and never will be, wood stocks for them are super expensive because they have to be custom made.

It looks like something an overly rich duke from the renaissance would buy. e.g. [t]http://farm2.staticflickr.com/1266/544069813_69e9c805f6_o.jpg[/t]
You don't know gaudy until you've seen Romeo + Juliet
Moral of the story: never give Hollywood Shakespeare and a box of PT99s, or a drag-queen Mercutio.
I like how they were too lazy to change the script for guns, so they just named all the guns things like "Dagger" and "Longsword"
I like how they were too lazy to change the script for guns, so they just named all the guns things like "Dagger" and "Longsword"
Actually, memory serving they had to keep the script as accurate to the original as possible for them to still claim it as William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, so the dialogue was almost completely unchanged. Which is why they were still speaking ye olde Englische in the mid 1990s.
I like how they were too lazy to change the script for guns, so they just named all the guns things like "Dagger" and "Longsword"
pretty sure thats the whole point, and why one of those pistols has DAGGER engraved into the side of it.
Honestly, while the movie itself was bad i liked the way they modernized it but kept the same script.
Ever wondered how the worst rifle of WWII functions?
I like the substle swastikas on nearly everything.
Found this neat photography collection on Famous Guns (famous in terms of pop culture, so mainly from movies) http://www.federicomauro.eu/11918/1638836/works/famous-guns Here's a couple of them
I've always been a fan of this blocky piece of gun [t]http://waa.ai/g8O.jpg[/t] It just looks mean and like it can and will bludgeon you to death, despite being a gun.
heh, I assure that that flimsy polymer side folding butt stock will not be harming anyone.
heh, I assure that that flimsy polymer side folding butt stock will not be harming anyone.
Oh I know, but the way it looks stock excluded.

Honestly, i've never liked it. No doubt effective but i've just never liked the look of it for some reason.
it looks very uninteresting due to it's simplicity and blockyness
it looks very uninteresting due to it's simplicity and blockyness
I prefer Simple and Blocky things. nothing wrong with differing opinions.
G11 is far from simple.
Mechanically not. Geometrically, very.
I like the substle swastikas on nearly everything.
More than likely the rifle presented is a [del] Finn mosin [/del] Chinese G88 copy . Both the Chinese and the Finns liked the swastika too. Apparently AKs make pretty good jumper cables.
The straight stick mag is what does it for me
I think the UMP9 with the curved magazine really fucks up the aesthetic as a whole.

tbh mp5 > ump9 and mp5/10 > ump45
tbh mp5 > ump9 and mp5/10 > ump45
Why do you think that? Just curious
Ever wondered how the worst rifle of WWII functions?
worst rifle my ass
