The whole point of the AR-15 and M-16 designs were to be modern and space age; meaning being made out of high tech (as of 1959) polymers and plastics where parts normally would be made out of aluminum and wood. A wood stock would defeat one of the main advantages of the platform.
It would be like putting a ported barrel on a suppressed pistol. Looks neat but defeats the whole point of the gun.

Actually, memory serving they had to keep the script as accurate to the original as possible for them to still claim it as William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, so the dialogue was almost completely unchanged. Which is why they were still speaking ye olde Englische in the mid 1990s.

pretty sure thats the whole point, and why one of those pistols has [b]DAGGER[/B] engraved into the side of it.
Honestly, while the movie itself was bad i liked the way they modernized it but kept the same script.

Yeah, the UMP, like most HK police-weapons, is rather boss for what it is.
Honestly, i've never liked it. No doubt effective but i've just never liked the look of it for some reason.

More than likely the rifle presented is a [del] Finn mosin [/del] Chinese G88 copy . Both the Chinese and the Finns liked the swastika too.
