Granted, the first I posted had two IR projectors, which was uncommon, but not unheard of to mount.

And all the planes. And all the rocket weapons. And the concept of assault rifles, though the US didn't get in on that before the 60's.

whats even more halarious is that isnt really a large gun to begin with

Wouldn't that sight come in the way of ejecting brass?
whats even more halarious is that isnt really a large gun to begin with
an M1 carbine is a fantastic rifle though. It's got pretty good killing power for such a small cartridge, and it's damned accurate too because of it's shorter barrel.
Wouldn't that sight come in the way of ejecting brass?
The thing is bolted and/or welded onto the receiver. The brass is just going to deflect off the scope assuming the brass would even hit the scope.

My good ol' Dutch army manual has a picture of a FAL with that shit ontop of it..
In total it must weigh the same as a small car I'd imagine.
~
Also, I got bored and made a thing.
Might add proper textures.. someday.

Only problem i've ever had with PSG's is the thing on the end of the pistol grip.
Only problem i've ever had with PSG's is the thing on the end of the pistol grip.
Super-comfy and ergonomic style of grip, though. Not very practical for field-work, but the PSG isn't meant to be taken out in the dirty field, it's a police rifle.
Michael Mann's movies have sweet guns/sound effects

Good, that's a good way to hurt somebody or kill them if you fuck up bad enough.

quite light. Also, if anyone in the company lose a gun part, military prison for that guy. Same goes for pointing at anyone and not practicing finger safety.
I totally didn't have a cellphone or internet access when we were issued our rifles in basic...
Our Drill Sergeants weren't overly concerned with muzzle direction unless we were on a range or someone was doing something overtly stupid.
We did point our weapons at each other intentionally during training with blanks etc.
Prison is a stiff punishment for poor muzzle awareness and trigger discipline; I understand that they're trying to impress upon you the severity of your actions and their consequences should you actually have rounds chambered.
Back when I was issued my ol' G3, I had the unit 'tard point his at me and say stupid shit. I grabbes his barrel and hit him in the gut with the stock. The sgt. was quite pleased.

It wasn't. Just did it to teach him not to fuck around. 'sides, if it was loaded, chances are, he'd have shot me out of sheer stupidity anyway.

Watch Collateral too! It's pretty different - more of a thriller than a crime drama - but Mann's trademark awesome gunplay and that specific nighttime mood are both present. Also, both Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise are great in it.
and if that doesn't convince you, this should

I might have seen it before, cause I recognize that scene. Def gonna watch that too though! Thanks :D
Equilibrium's Cleric Beretta is ridiculous but at the same time kind of cool looking.

Jerry Miculek's Mossberg 930 looks ridiculously cool; looks like he stole a brake from an anti-tank gun though. DAT 14 round tube...

Yes, that's a tubular magazine :v: Caliber 7mm. This was the Berger Repeating Pistol, manufactured in 1880-1881.
