BREN with 100 round Drum. Apparently these mags were used in conjunction with raised sights and a modified magazine well (to support the drum, could still take standard boxes) for anti-aircraft.
Here's some shots of them in action:
A bit late here, but what would be so anachronistic about that? A1 AR rifles would've been around for almost 10 years by that point, and the Model 605 had about the same barrel length as a dissipator. Although it would definitely be tricky to get your hands on one, they did exist by that point.
Also, FAMAE SAF200:

There's a SIG in there somewhere.
That is the sexiest thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
I don't know why but I love SMGs with boxy mags.

This, IMO, is the sexiest gun I've ever seen. I love just everything about it.
imo, The MAS-36 looks better due to its simpler look.

I can never look at a French rifle without imagining how a soldier could use it as a flag-pole to surrender.
Also, I've been doing some digging on the Indian INSAS rifle, found a guy who gave it an extensive looking over, good lord this thing is pathetic.

These things have their lettering scratched on by hand, and then because some of the factories that build them can't accurately paint over the scratches, they just smeared enamel over the area around the markings. And as you can see those receivers are completely coated in rivets
[t]http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb314/cottagecheese_album/INSAS/DSC05573.jpg[/t]
Then there's a spring loaded carrying handle for no practical reason. The magazines are also cheaply made plastic 20 rounders.
[t]http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb314/cottagecheese_album/INSAS/DSC05554.jpg[/t]
The gas cutoff is almost identical to an FNC, but it's so cheaply made it can actually be bent and warped by flipping it up and down.
[t]http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb314/cottagecheese_album/INSAS/DSC05559.jpg[/t]
The dust-cover is also very cheap, to the point where they need extra reinforcement plates on the back, which themselves are flimsy and poorly fitted, like nearly everything else on this gun.
[t]http://i207.photobucket.com/albums/bb314/cottagecheese_album/INSAS/CockingHandle.jpg[/t]
The charging handle is kind of cool though, even if it's pretty much copied from the L1a1 and moved to a position more in line with the G3. Still an improvement over the AK or FNC handles.

Ya know, I didn't think it was that hard to make an AK clone, Poland made the Tantal, the Finnish made the Valmet M62, Israel made the Galil, SA made the R4, and China made a working 5.56mm bullpup ak (Type 97)! There are guys building AKs by hand in the Khyber Pass, but India managed to fuck it up.
Thats mostly because they couldn't decide if they wanted a Galil clone or a FNC trying to be an FAL. Nobody expects quality craftsmanship out of the middle east to begin with.
And now, the many faces of Uzi.
Awesome:

Haha wow you are so original
So, in my idle browsings of the internets and stuff, I was reminded of this thing...

Polish PM-63 RAK. It's... Uh. Special. 9x18mm open-bolt blowback automatic. However, as opposed to the Uzi I mentioned above; which is also a 9mm blowback open-bolt automatic, it uh... Kinda have a slide. Like a pistol. Now, can anyone tell me what a pistol with an open bolt looks like? Yes, Billy? That's right. Like this.

Which means the first picture I showed you of the PM63 was, in fact, not really in a ready-to-fire position. This is how that'd look:

Yep. When you pull the trigger, the slide shoots forwards like when you flick the slide-release of a regular handgun, chambering a round, firing it, then locking back again. Can't imagine that being good for stability, even when compared to other open-bolt designs.
i'm sure people can give me a lot of reasons as to why each shape is where it is on this ol' pistol:

but its still not good looking at all
As someone who owns a C9 you will not find anything that is more sturdy, reliable and accurate for under $200.
or as big a piece of shit
or as big a piece of shit
That's the .380 model and it's huge, the 9mm model is the one I have. Also the Baby Deagles are huge and unlike the C9, really is shitty and those are under $200.

So unfloding the stock completely changes your view on the gun?

I can buy a Raven arms MP25 and be more satisfied with it than I would a piece of shit hipoint.

wait why do you own a hipoint
and thats saying something, cause the last time I shot my MP25, the slide flew off and smacked me in the shoulder
wait why do you own a hipoint
Because it's accurate, reliable, durable and light.
I'd rather own a taurus than a hipoint

You mean precise?
I'd rather own a taurus than a hipoint
Depends on the user. I've never fired a Taurus so I can't compare. Having fired several models and calibers of Glocks however I would take a HiPoint over a Glock.
Because it's accurate, reliable, durable and light.
ok, so how much is hipoint paying you to do forum advertising?

Surely you're not that stupid. I prefer HiPoint over Glock because Glocks have more recoil. I wouldn't even use the .380 HiPoint as a hammer though, it's bulky, doesn't feel right and could pass an accuracy test at maybe 25 feet.
im sure the hi-point has to be good at something but ergonomics is not one of them
im sure the hi-point has to be good at something but ergonomics is not one of them
You can get them customized to look better, but the cost to do so is the same as just buying a new pistol. They are perfect first time firearm owners and made with cheap parts, mostly polymer, but still just as durable as a steel or metal one.

Glocks have more felt recoil because they're not cheap poorly designed pieces of shit with bulky slides that weigh 6 pounds. If your main reason for preferring a piece of shit gang banger pistol over a glock is recoil, then you really need to rethink your priorities when it comes to firearms.
Jesus christ, this thread is for posting cool/ugly firearms not arguing about if they're better than the others
im sure the hi-point has to be good at something but ergonomics is not one of them
They're cheap and pretty accurate. But they're as ergonomic as a boat anchor and reliability is...Variable.
