Coolest/Ugliest Weapons V5 - Bullpup AKs are the best

Since someone asked what the 'sekret weapon' is in the picture (and someone answered it for me since I weren't here), I'll give you a link to the comic it's coming from. It's a comic about a Ork fighta-bomma squadron called Deff Skwadron.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!
Well, the difference is that the VP70 is 70's era HK (read: quality), and Hi-point is, well, Hi-point.
Also, you can't club someone with a VP70.
Sorry but the VP70 in real life is pretty awful, particularly the trigger pull, and it uses proprietary magazines for no reason. The only things it has going for it are the submachine gun feature, which is clumsy and offers no benefits over a more compact weapon like an MP5K, its historical significance as the first polymer handgun, and its use in Aliens.
What was that shotgun that had a pistol-like slide? it was an old semi-auto.
i want to see a garand (or other rifles of the wooden flattery) in purple heart wood because i think it looks rad as fuck

I honestly love the shit out of cherry/red and purple tinted woods. I'd love to see a garand in that shade.

The Swedish sjögren shotgun?

'Awful' as in just superficial or 'awful' as in terrible quality? 'Cause, aside from the horrendous trigger pull, I can't really find anyone bitching about the gun on the 'net. (not trying to argue, I'm genuinely curious - knowing stuff about stuff is fun!)
But yeah, agreed on all other points. Aside from concealability - I'd imagine that fitting a reasonably small pistol under your jacket/coat would be much easier, even with the ginormous stock/holster, than trying to fit an MP5K under there. (deploying it would definitely be clumsier, though, since you'd either have to go with just a regular semi-auto with a bad trigger, or waste precious time on affixing the stock). Definitely something I can see working for bodyguards and the like.
And, well, I just think it's cool as shit despite all that stuff. :v: This is the Coolest/Ugliest Weapons thread after all.

Sjögren shotgun, designed in Sweden, made in Denmark, used an inertia recoil system, the second auto-shotgun design produced.

It has probably the worst trigger pull I've ever felt in a handgun. It doesn't seem like a huge deal, but it kills accuracy and makes it no fun to shoot. It has no slide lock, so you don't know you're empty until it clicks when you try to fire (also making it slightly clumsier to reload, since you need to rack the slide on every new mag), the magazine release is on the heel of the grip (forgivable since it's by far not the only pistol like that, but it's still slow), and a really weird sighting system for no reason.
Basically there's absolutely no reason to carry one over the many comparable alternatives.

Eh, I've seen that stock and it's huge. An MP5K or mini-Uzi can be tucked into a shoulder holster or harness and kept concealed very easily, but there's just no way to conceal that giant brick of a stock, and deploying it is slow and clumsy.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's really cool in terms of looks and concept, and I'd love to have an airsoft replica where none of the real-world problems apply, I'm just saying it's not necessarily a quality handgun just because it's HK.

Man, the M43 looks like one of these bullpup conversion stocks that were so popular in 80s movies.

Like this. (that's for a Mini-14, by the way.)

Pretty much that.
Edit: Also, they cancelled the 5.45 Tavor for a 300 Blackout one... More of the same.
If fired by a human, yes. Ork tech is powered mostly, sometimes entirely, by the collective psychic powers of orks. An ork shoota can be nothing more than an ammo belt fed through a solid block of scrap metal with a barrel on the end, and it'll still shoot, because the ork, and all his ork buddies, believe it will shoot. This is also why red vehicles go faster; and yellow rockets go boomier.
I'm sorry, but I have to correct you. Orks are not stupid, (just a bit brutish) they will only think the shoota will work if it somewhat looks and functions like a firearm. This means that it have to be fed ammo and goes bang when the trigger is pulled. If it is really loud when it goes bang, all the Orks will think it's a propa good shoota (the louder it is, the better it is), and it will function flawlessly because of it.
If some desparate guardsman would pick it up and fire it by themselves, it would probably function like a bashed up old machine gun made from scrap metal, filled by sand and dirt: Like crap.
On topic, I have really grown to like classic revolvers:

Slightly related, I once saw an IKEA kitchen in one of their catalogues with purple wooden doors and drawers, and it was absolutely the coolest thing ever.
Ork technology (or "teknologee") is characterised by a constant stream of poorly thought-out experimentation and attempts to constantly outdo the competition to build the biggest gun, the largest gargant (a huge land-based walker), or the fastest buggy, and also mainly by the fact that in many cases the only reason it works at all is because of the Orks' minor psychic powers. This means that if enough Orks think it will work, it usually will. Many a Techmarine has opened an Ork slugga to find it to just be a box with bolts and bits of metal in it.

In addition, the more Orks, the larger the WAAAAAAAAGH field, the more effective things are.
Which brings up a question I heard once...
If you get a planet full o' ork boyz, and unite them all under a single WAAAAAAGH!, and have them construct a giant orky clock tower and get them all to believe turning the hands backwards would send them back in time... would it work?
Actually, if a human picked up an ork weapon in the viscinity of a bunch of orks, wouldn't they still think the weapon would work when shot by a human, therefore making it work when shot by a human?
also does this mean Orks could have achieved space travel in the middle ages by thinking a bunch of rockets strapped to a chair is a safe and totally reliable way to get into orbit?
