Don't use links that actually have the name in the filename. Especially wikipedia links since you can go to the file page and see what articles use it. [sp]Dhruv[/sp]
To be fair, it was a good guess-what-it-is subject. My first thoughts were France due to the tail-marking and the camo-pattern quite matching the French infantry uniforms, bringing me to check Eurocopter's line of vehicles. It wasn't before I spotted the quite Asian lettering and the HAL name on the engine compartment that I got on the right track and found it.

I remember how hype most of the people where.. then it came out and erryone just went "It sucks". Lesson learned: Hypes are BS, just be patient since 9/10 times it ends up disappointing anyway.
Same the movie sucked balls.
Sucks? The movie was pretty damn great, good humor and nice political satire.
Sucks? The movie was pretty damn great, good humor and nice political satire.
It was utter garbage. The 'satire' was more ham-fisted than your average tumblr activist's blog. The story was laughable, the acting was pathetic, and the jokes were offensive the only times they didn't fall completely flat. The only redeeming feature was that the CGI was slightly above average. The movie deserves every ounce of hate that comes its way.

Here is a handgun, it is Russian: The Gsh-18, semi-auto, striker fired, rotating barrel 9mm pistol with a magazine capacity of 18 rounds.
Looks like you Yanks just don't like it since it mocks the USA so much :v:
That's the problem. This is suppose to be a movie about Nazis from the Moon invading the Earth! Not "let's slap America around for 90 minutes for the sake of yucks." That's a dumb reason too, because my feelings are hurt since I'm an American. Other Non Americans can agree with Trek and me, The movie sucked.

Speaking of recoil, the R51 seems very controllable, skip to 2:00 to see it being shot:
Seems really snappy for a 9mm, although the AP ammo they were shooting as well is +P+.
It was designed specifically for the usage with the Russian Army's 7N21 and 7N31 overpressure armor-piercing 9x19 rounds, so it does pack a bit more punch than a typical NATO 9mm. Knife fights are scary, and I don't want to have to get any closer than I need to. Nothing like getting their knife hand rapped with a telescoping baton to make them drop it.

I was just stating that the Karambit can be a really effective knife in a fight. I'd either take a Baton or a Kukri. Because Kukri's are awesome.

Read it on this site http://badassoftheweek.com/ Not only did they attack the train with guns. But some of them also wielded swords and clubs. First, the afore mentioned Gurkha dude decided to sit down and chill, let the robbers rob the passengers, because he was on holidays or something like it. And didn't want any trouble before going home to his family. They took his wallet and watch, but left his kukri alone. Then they decided if would be fun to rape a 18 year old girl in front of her parents. That shit didn't fly with this Gurkha guy. So he stood up, got his ultimate fuck-you-i-win weapon, the kukri, in his hand. And charged the robbers. He sliced the throat of the leader, stabbed some guy in the gut. TOOK A FUCKING SWORD TO THE ARM, stabbed the guy who held the sword, because fuck you Gurkhas don't give a fuck. Then he stabbed and sliced 4 other guys before the rest of the band of robbers consisting of 40 MEN ran away, shitting their pants. 3 robbers died, 5 were injured, 12 got captured. So yeah don't fuck with Gurkha soldiers.

Too bad they're banned here in the UK.
"My inclination to run for cover, not lessened by a salvo of mortar bombs that came down behind me, was only restrained by the thought of what a figure the Corps Commander would cut, sprinting for safety, in front of all these little men. So, not liking it a bit, I continued to walk forward. Then, from behind a bush that offered scant cover to his bulky figure, rose my old friend, the Subadar Major of the 7th Gurkhas, his face creased in a huge grin which almost hid his twinkling almond eyes. He stood there and shook with laughter at me. I asked him coldly what he was laughing at, and he replied that it was very funny to see the General Sahib wandering along there by himself not knowing what to do! And, by Jove, he was right; I did not! It is a funny thing how differently the various races react to such a situation. A British soldier would have called out to me to take shelter and would have made room for me beside him. The average Indian sepoy would have watched anxiously, but said nothing unless I was hit, when he would have leapt forward and risked his life to get me under cover. A Sikh would have sprung up, and with the utmost gallantry dramatically covered me with his own body, thrilled at the chance of an audience. Only a Gurkha would stand up and laugh."
Suffice to say that despite its extremely weeaboo appearance the karambit is actually a nasty piece of work. Kali teaches almost exclusively a defensive (reverse-gripped) posture for knives, which makes them much easier to parry with, and retains more control than a conventional grip when slashing. For this purpose, the forward-curved blade and triangular cross-section makes it easy to grab onto limbs or weapons and then it cuts quite brutally. For an actual knife fight though I'd rather have a machete, which is the fundamental weapon in kali. It's easier to handle than a kukri (less weird weight distribution) and gives as much reach as a baton.
http://www.badassoftheweek.com/shrestha.html Fuck Also :v:
You forgot the last, and one of the better parts of that story.
Ultimately, like a true badass, Bishnu Shrestha doesn't need any thanks for doing what he needed to do. The family of the girl he saved offered him a reward of $6,500, but the dude never stopped by to collect it. That wasn't the point. The man himself said it best, responding to reporters by saying, "Fighting the enemy in battle is my duty as a soldier. Taking on the thugs on the train was my duty as a human being."
Edit: Oh, also forgot to mention that from time to time they get in trouble when fighting in Afghanistan and other parts of the middleeast. Why? Because they decapitate both dead and alive taliban fighters after a fight.
