That gun looks straight outta Star Wars.
Khyber Pass built 7.62x25 AKSU clone. You can see how small it is in the second pic with its tiny mag.

What the hell is up with that? Seen it on other weapons too.

So I just played all three STALKER games for the first time. Used this baby as my primary weapon for most of it and good god was it great. [t]http://data3.primeportal.net/armory/roman_stepanov/vss_sniper_rifle/images/vss_sniper_rifle_7_of_9.jpg[/t] And its subsonic 9x39mm rounds look bitchin' too. It looks very familiar but I know it's not a normal AK type. [editline]7th January 2014[/editline] Also the look of that magazine reminds me of the STG-44's magazines, and that reminds me of the STG-44: [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/84/MP44_-_Tyskland_-_8x33mm_Kurz_-_Arm%C3%A9museum.jpg[/t] That thing is niiiice.
Where have I seen that pistol grip before? It looks very familiar but I know it's not a normal AK type.
Looks very close to a Vz. 58 pistol grip.
Where have I seen that pistol grip before? It looks very familiar but I know it's not a normal AK type. That thing is niiiice.
Its a chinese bakelite pistol grip used on Polytech production Type 56s-2; I'm not sure if they did copy it from the Vz 58. I have one, its a rarer US imported AK, but they are quite common over in Afghanistan and Africa. The grip reminded me of a shrunken Colt SAA grip; its comfortable, but tiny. Fits the child soldier notion. Note the pistol grip:

I wish they would de-mill all those captured ak's and ship them over to America so I could have cheap parts kits.

I'd like to post mechs too, if that's okay. I know I'm three days late, but whatever.
Too bad war trophies gets you like 10 years.
I was curious about this, and decided to look into it. An article on it. They aren't necessarily illegal, but, if you want to bring something back with you, it must be approved by your chain of command. What you want to bring back, something that would be considered a war trophy, must also fall under certain criteria, so here are examples from the article: War trophies that might pass muster, based on 1st Marine Division guidance: Uniform items - military blouses, trousers, berets, helmets, belts, sashes, boots and gloves. Uniform accoutrements - military rank insignia, shoulder patches, shoulder straps, epaulets and buttons. Individual equipment - gas masks, swagger sticks, cartridge belts, mess kits, canteens, ammunition pouches, map cases, compasses, binoculars and other optics. Unit equipment - unit insignia, military photos, training manuals and training posters. Other - nonlethal items conforming with the spirit and intent of expressed guidance.
More Zeppelins! Because they're so Majestic.

Babby M4!
While I get that the magazine well is full size so it can still take standard AR uppers and calibers, personally I think that for pistol-caliber AR-15s, the dedicated lowers look nicer: And yes, that bottom one is feeding from a Glock magazine.
10mm is bestmm.
10mm is bestmm.
Needs Glock mag compatibility though, companion guns are great.
Needs Glock mag compatibility though, companion guns are great.
...Man. The Glock 29 is pretty much the bossest thing ever. Compactness of a derringer, firepower of a howitzer.
Needs Glock mag compatibility though, companion guns are great.
Let's have the best of both world, and just have a glock that takes AR mags!
This thing comes in 10mm. This particular one is .45, which is a pussy caliber for people who don't have hair on their balls yet and only need to shoot squirrels and shrews, but the weapon does come in 10mm auto. Which is rad as hell. Not enough bullpup battle rifles.
What's with you and 10mm? What are you, the FBI?

10mm is my jam, but as far as I remember it's a bit more pricey and / or rare than what it was created to compete against.
