forward ejecting is good for non lethal home defense just load her up with blanks and pelt an intruder with shell casings and hot gas
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4d/M77B1.jpg[/t] Zastava M77, basically just an AK with a straight mag and a carry handle. Oooohoho man.
Another thing to notice about Yugo LMGs is the barrel. From handguard to gas-port, it's ribbed for her pleasure. [editline]10th January 2014[/editline]
forward ejecting is a big yes for a bulpup.
It's pretty nice in a conventional rifle, too. [sp]If you don't get it, you haven't fired a G3.[/sp]
My AK punts brass forward at a 45 degree angle. I never have to clean up brass at the range because all the brass ends up downrange. Quite a few firearms have that kind of extraction behavior. But that's not what weapons like the F2000 do- they actually eject almost straight out the front.

And it likes to keep the base or the neck of the casing.
-Snipped.
Wait are you saying he had a round chambered and he fired it in his SO's face? Seriously? That's pretty fucking dumb. How do you not know if you've got a round in the chamber on your own gun?

Don't point any of those at people you don't want dead and pull the trigger and you'll be good.
It got a lot of things going for it! It got a cutting blade and a pointed stabby-tip like you'd expect, but it also got a serrated back for sawing stuff with, and a hole near the tip for clipping onto the scabbard to turn it into a wire-cutter, and a reinforced, squared-off pommel to use as a hammer! It's like a Swiss army knife, except it goes on the tip of a gun too! Clever, eh? A combat knife's primary purpose isn't to stab or cut as much as it is do everything you'd ever need a knife to do. Including stab-cutting people.
Oh man I had an AK bayonet and the scabbard I never realised the hole is for turning it into a wirecutter :v:
Forgive me if I am wrong, but doesn't the ejection port open up if there are no rounds left in an AR-15? Either way you should never point a gun at somebody unless you intend to fire and always treat a gun as if it is loaded.
Forgive me if I am wrong, but doesn't the ejection port open up if there are no rounds left in an AR-15? Either way you should never point a gun at somebody unless you intend to fire and always treat a gun as if it is loaded.
The bolt locks back when the magazine is empty because the follower pushes up on the bolt stop/release. If your mags have worn followers or weak springs, or even a worn bolt catch, this will not occur. If the rifle fails to fire (hangfire, or light primer strike) and fail to extract the last round (round stuck in chamber, extractor tears rim off cartridge) for some reason, the bold could lock open with a live round in the chamber. ALWAYS check the bore, this is part of SPORTS as taught to soldiers. Basically, unless you're conducting training with blanks or actually shooting the enemy, don't be pointing weapons at anyone or thing that isn't a target.

If the bolt is held back, it's either empty or jammed, but that doesn't mean you should point it at dudes. Second, my point in posting a clearly empty pistol, a field-stripped and opened M16, and a stripped lower reciever was that no matter what state it's in, you don't fucking point your gun at people and flex your finger.

Jeez. I was simply just trying to figure out if the bolt really gets held back when empty or if I was mistaken.

My mistake.
it locks back on empty but im pretty sure you can close it back
Yeah, bolt-relese can of course be pressed on empty.

Here's an interesting one: The Taurus 85 View. .38 Special snub revolver intended for concealment, with transparent sides.
