As a flamethrower.
Oberez is effective at 100m
Throw a nice optic on one and I think it's safe to assume you could get distances of around 900 to 1000 miles.

Wouldn't be possible, the stock of the Barret is also the buffer.

FN MAG, or M240 in the U.S.
i'm not entirely sure why but i never paid much attention to the fact deckard's pistol is bolt action that's neat as hell
It's not. It's a revolver, it just has the bolt and breech from a Steyr-Mannlicher rifle stuck on top of a Charter Arms Bulldog for looks. Have a look here if you're interested in learning more.
Ostensibly, because it has two triggers, the bolt-action part is for some kind of secondary fire never shown in the movie, maybe a shotgun like the LeMat or a non-lethal subdual round for police work.
Wouldn't be possible, the stock of the Barret is also the buffer.
It'd just be like the buffer tubes on an AR pistol, only like a foot long.

well, I guess that's why I never noticed! That brings up a neat concept, those revolvers with another barrel for larger shots / shotguns

These things are just the coolest. I loved the Chimera out of Fallout 3's Operation Anchorage add-on.

found a book today on tanks of the world, and i'm pleased to present this
[t]http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x241/Alanp_photo/WWII/sIF3315cmGrille-CricketAusfM.jpg[/t]
and this
[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/59/Char_St_Chamond_tank.jpg[/t]
the first had a real tippy problem being so damn top heavy
the second was completely worthless as it could bottom out between hills and it was like the prius of the day having an extra 5 tons devoted to an unnessisarily complicated gas/electric drive system
so bad infact that....well
his led to such negative reactions by the crews in training that a special mention was passed on to General Headquarters: Nobody wants to serve on the Saint-Chamond. Second Lieutenant de Gouyon, principal Saint-Chamond driving instructor at Marly, has publicly declared that it has become virtually impossible for him to continue to carry on and, since he is a Member of Parliament, that he will request to have the whole matter placed on the next parliamentary agenda.
Italian tank destroyers, these unfortunately are late-war destroyers, the earlier ones had essentially a u-boat deck gun mounted on top of a tank chassis with no armor what so ever

This top rifle there. Coolest looks I've seen in a modern bolt action for ages; stupidest name ever.
Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout .338. Yeah.

Is there a variant with a longer barrel? It's too short for my tastes.
Is there a variant with a longer barrel? It's too short for my tastes.
The barrel is hella-long, it's a friggin' bullpup. But yes, they do make one where the barrel sticks beyond the RIS system.

And on the topic of long barrels.

20" AR15s with collapsible stocks make me wet.
While I quite like the looks of the ridiculously named bullpup, I imagine that operating the bolt might be uncomfortable with it being that far back.
20inch AR's are better with the old A2 stock. Its comfy as fuck and you get the huge buffer.
Looks pretty killer indeed.

Carbine ARs are cute with the A2 stock, too.
