Interesting video showing the Lewis gun and its components and how is assembled. Notice the odd recoil spring which is a spiral clock spring attached to a ratchet. (4:15)
i've never seen or heard a Lewis gun firing before and always thought its RoF would be higher for some reason
Everyone posting trench gun all of you I love you

I prefer the KS-23, because nothing quite says ' Fuck Off ' like a 23mm ZPU barrel re-fitted to shoot shotgun shells.
i can't seem to find a better picture of this, but [t]http://www.christies.com/lotfinderimages/d48335/d4833575x.jpg[/t] probably one of the first practical revolvers, supposedly samuel colt was inspired by this,
and suddenly it's shotgun time jizzing everywhere
The bullpup version is a little wonky though
"A little" doesn't even begin to describe it. But still, a sawed-off tank cannon is badass no matter what frame you put on it.
Everybody post your favorite gun that's from the timeframe 1880-1930.
I'm surprised Tommy Gun hasn't been mentioned yet. I don't know why, they just look really cool. also they're cool as heck to dual wield
Ain't this the movie with the one guy murdering the whole town because of a cup of coffe?
nah, that was rampage by uwe boll, the image i posted is snake eyes from GI Joe Retaliation [t]http://i.imgur.com/OV5EWG6.jpg[/t] he also had dual MP7s, but wore a stupid fucking paintball mask and was also in a terrible movie made by a terrible man
glorious 5kg weapon while unloaded
The weight of the M1A1 Thompson is actually quite nice.
Sure it's not the prettiest of things, to be honest it is pretty ugly, but the Farquhar Hill was a pretty cool rifle in design. [t]http://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/rifle/GB/1307210917.jpg[/t] 20 round drum magazine in .303 British, and one of the first semi-automatic rifles made in the 20th century. It was used by the royal flying corps on the British side in World War One for a bit, until we stuck guns on planes instead. Main issue was that it is larger and heavier than the Enfield being used at the time, and probably much more expensive. Still a neat concept, and it's a rarely heard about gun.
New question, what weapon would you want in a Zombie Apocalypse? Personally, i'd say it's a Tommygun, run it on SEMI, it's basically a 50/100-round more accurate Colt 1911. And yes, i know it's heavy...
