I can't help but think of an M93R with that foregrip. [T]http://www.imfdb.org/images/8/8f/Beretta93-1-.jpg[/T]
I always thought that was for stabbing people when you pistol whip them.

"They make piston-driven AR15's which don't have this" No they don't? The LR300 is DI. Short-stroke ARs all have a buffer, too. There's no real advantage to having a short-stroke system in an AR15.

[editline]6th February 2014[/editline] Also, that video reminded me, there have been other bullpup rifles that have the buffer slung over your shoulder like this, Barrett made a version of their M82 like that [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3b/M82A2.JPG[/t]
Ech, true. What I meant to say was, short-stroke piston doesn't mean you don't need a buffer. The buffer is for the bolt, not for the gas.
Ech, true. What I meant to say was, short-stroke piston doesn't mean you don't need a buffer. The buffer is for the bolt, not for the gas.
This is true, I was just pointing out that not every piston upper needs the buffer, that particular design limitation can be solved regardless of the method of operation, and that the LR-300 isn't the only folding stock AR out there Although it is the best one.
TBH, I think the only issue I see with that idea he's got is that he'll have incredibly tiny sight radius unless using optics. Well, the most glaring one anyway, not the only issue.
fallout NV did do one thing right and making That Gun actually make sense by being a revolver with an electronically rotating cylinder
Nigga Fallout: New Vegas did loads of shit right
I used to love my SA-80. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/SA-80_rifle_1996.jpg[/t] [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/15/SA-80_rifle_stripped_1996.jpg[/t] It got a lot of bad press but it done the job.
Why does the upper handle have to have that little dent to make way for the weirdly shaped ring around the trigger?
I'm not quite sure what you mean? I guess you mean [t]http://i.imgur.com/8FnxTuK.jpg[/t] This bit?
the weirdly shaped ring around the trigger
Is the trigger guard?
Dude don't get me started on the L85, i fricking love the things. ESPECIALLY the post-2011 L85A2s with the Daniel Defense RIS, ACOGs and PMAGs. Image dump incoming. Are they legal to own and carry in the US? After the Army I never kept upto date with firearms and the laws around them [sp]I know the UK Gun laws are shit[/sp]
Before you guys ask, I'm sitting this one out. :v:
No SA80 variants have been exported for civvie use
Closest thing I could find is a .22 clone made by a company named LEI but I can't actually find shit about it either.
One of the coolest handgun with literally the stupidest name.
was that irony? C7's are sexy as hell
I meant nothing special as in the C7 is basically an AR15 clone... boring
Not just stupid, infuriating. Trying to talk to anyone about is a lesson in futility.
"Oh man I love the Beretta 90-Two" "I love the Beretta 92 as well.
I'm not quite sure what you mean? I guess you mean [t]http://i.imgur.com/8FnxTuK.jpg[/t]Is the trigger guard?
yes exactly those pics ossumsauce posted right below you look way better, idk
It's just the design I guess? Nice little fact about the trigger though. They designed it with this V shape in the back [t]http://www.cybershooters.org/SA80/trigger.JPG[/t] It's to help stop ice building up behind it. I like the little things :)
I like L85's but I don't like broken jaws.
That's not a Vepr, though? That's a VBR-Belgium PDW, some dubious PDW with weird ammo made by some Belgian dude. It's never made it to production, and like the Saab-Bofors CBJ-MS, I've seen no third-party tests to back up it's high claims of feats.
Dammit this is what happens when I have to post something real quick before I leave.
yes exactly [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/8FnxTuK.jpg[/thumb] those pics ossumsauce posted right below you look way better, idk
thats because that variant is an L85A1, prior to the 2008 upgrade. Tons of things were changed between the A1 and the A2, including but not limited to a new bolt, new metal magazines that were much less jamtastic, new trigger assembly, new gas assembly, new barrel, new bolt handle that buffers brass as it ejects, which also led to fewer jams, better receiver construction, and the gradual shift from SUSAT sights to ACOGs, metal STANAGS to EMAGs that jammed even less, and the standard polymer handguard to the DD RIS. If you look closely, you can tell that the polymer furniture on the A1 is very worn looking; but only because it's made of cheap, easily destructible materials. L85A1s were very, very shit, jamtastic, and were made of cheap materials. H&K(then owned by British conglomerate BAE Systems) did a really, REALLY good job of fixing this rifle. i really like the L85 ok
Are they legal to own and carry in the US? After the Army I never kept upto date with firearms and the laws around them [sp]I know the UK Gun laws are shit[/sp]
To my knowledge there is no civilian export version of any SA80 rifle. But it may be possible to take an airsoft copy of the L85 and shove an actual gun inside it to give the facsimile of one.

My first time on a range with the Sa-80 ended up with me and a black eye. Up until then, we had only used blanks with BFA's and iron sights [t]http://www.ar15.co.uk/images/bfa.jpg[/t] [t]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BZMgPx6oQDI/Tg0ki5sDMfI/AAAAAAAAAK8/Ldrst34IXuc/s1600/sa80-l85a1.jpg[/t] We was given 10 rounds of live 5.56.. off come the BFAs on go the Live mags. First shot.. *BAM* iron sight smashes into my cheek bone. (Yes I had my eye too close to the sight) (Yes I forgot the kick from a live round would be much stronger than a blank) Lessons were learnt.

Not really an issue because M16s don't kick, but I'm not sure of the difference in recoil between an M16 and an L85 however. [editline]7th February 2014[/editline] Speaking of Bullpups, anyone want a US imported semi auto FAMAS? http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=390452311#PIC
The recoil isn't too bad it was more so the fact I was prone and didn't get firm with the weapon and had my eye up close(it was our very first time live firing). It wasn't bone breaking stuff, but it left a nice mark.
