In a sense it's a simpler action, no extraction cycle, just cock the firing pin, load the round in, and bang, over and over, that's what gave the G11 a potential fire rate in excess of 2,000 RPM.
Look at that thing, you dont take that to a gunsmith if it breaks, you take it to a clockmaker
Well how many gunsmiths do you expect to understand a weapon that does away with the system that's effectively been the backbone of self-loading (and just magazine-fed) weapons for over 100 years now? Once you actually figure out how the design functions it's considerably less non-euclidian than it looks. also, this was one of the weapons that was ripped out of Titanfall [t]http://i.imgur.com/xPdJRRA.png[/t] Low poly world models aside, the information dug out on it says the weapon is called the M1a1 and fires in bursts (which is presumably what the "Dreamcast logo" setting on that fire selector is supposed to represent), to me it looks like a cross of an AR-15 and the M41a from Aliens. [editline]26th February 2014[/editline] And no, I don't know why there's a hole in the toprail, maybe they had to make up for the pointless rail riser slapped into the middle of the R101c's toprail.

It looks like some sort of incredibly heavy WH40K weapon.
Also, all the pistols in Titanfall appear to be built on almost the exact same frame, and each have a grip safety, a thumb safety, and a trigger safety. Except the revolver, which just has a grip safety.
just cock the firing pin, load the round in, and bang, over and over
And in the case of the G11, it did that whether you wanted it to or not :v:

My favorite plane time! [t]http://www.kensmen.com/wallpaper1.jpg[/t] Mostly because of a level in Call of Duty 2 Big Red One, Liberators. aka my very first Shooter.

Like does the whole thing come out and it's this massively bulky and stupidly complicated design that would probably be difficult/expensive to mass produce or is it something like this with the black circled area being an oversized magwell and the red circled area being the actual magazine?
And in the case of the G11, it did that whether you wanted it to or not :v:
Hey, they fixed that! Eventually.
I dont see how anyone can say that caseless ammo gives a simpler firearm. Fucking kraut magic.
that was cas they decided to make the bullets go in pointing down, appart from convention of having bullets load in the direction they are meant to fire
I don't think you understand how a G11 works.
To be honest, does anyone?
its a clasic case of good intentions, good design, but poor TELOS nobody would ever buy a gun this damn complicated, if you can't explain how it works to the guys you are trying to sell it to, then you have a bad product, you can't just have a black box, where ammo goes in and bullets fly out and say it just works

true but i was thinking more of real life design only because i am in the middle of writing my design ethics midterm paper btw did you know the air force once planned a nuclear test on THE MOON? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_A119 basically at the height of nuclear testing, the air force had already detonated a bomb in space in operation starfish prime and created a massive van-allen belt, so where could we detonate a bomb next? well the plan was to nuke the moon and observe the debris to help astronomy and astronomers understand what the moon was made of, as well as being a big FUCK YA FOR 'MERICA! boost, though thankfully they understood that it would probably have pissed off EVERYBODY

Has the Madsen LAR been posted yet? I like the Swedish FM57 too, the stock especially. Pretty neat guns, I made models of them for Ace of Spades back when it was free to play and not owned by Jagex.
Why is the SUSAT bad?
Nobody ever answered your question! how rude. Ok basically it's got mediocre eye relief as well as the shittest reticle of all time, like a big pointy donkey dick, and really REALLY obscures targets at range.
*Waiting for Riller to come by and say how great the LAR is and how bad the FM57 is*
I think the Tavor looks pretty rad and plan on getting one in FDE.

Imagine being offended by the impractical designs of video game firearms.
*Waiting for Riller to come by and say how great the LAR is and how bad the FM57 is*
He's banned so you're going to have to wait a couple days
Imagine being offended by the impractical designs of video game firearms.
If you're making a serious sci-fi or near future setting then yeah, it's kind of a big deal and things should make some sense at least.
I want to see more sci-fi futurey games that go all-out with their guns stuff like a gun that has a revolver mechanism that rotates through multiple helical magazines or some shit like that
Realistic video game guns r 4 poop butts
