Anyhow;

if it's supposed to be snow camo, why not be completely white?
Because snowy environments are never 100% white unless it's on a big field.

Fun fact: the US tried making the M2 Browning into an anti-tank rifle of sorts for the US Calvary some time around the 30s

Great, now slap a belt on it and you've got yourself a new squad support weapon.

Forgot to mention, it was semiautomatic if I'm remembering correctly

I'm pretty sure (Read: Not sure at all, heard somewhere) that the .50 BMG cartridge was originally meant as an anti-tank cartridge, developed after WWI to battle the tanks of the time. Imagine how crazy powerful the M2 would be back then...

There was an APDS round tested for the M2 at some point during WW2, IIRC.

Close! It was originally developed for Anti-Air use, but I guess it is a common mixup with another round:
The development of the .50 BMG round is sometimes confused with the German 13.2 mm TuF, which was developed by Germany for an anti-tank rifle to combat British tanks during WWI; however, the development of the U.S. .50 caliber round was started before this later German project was completed or even known to the Allied countries.
First one was real. Second one is real. Turn-of-the-century was weird.
[editline]15th March 2014[/editline]
And derp, I didn't look close enough. Yeah, first one is a photoshop, I thought it was the same design as that, but nope, it's a revolver.
On the topic of crazy-ass revolvers, though.

I'm curious about how this one works. Does it just have one big hammer that fires all three barrels simultaneously? Or is it like one hammer for each barrel, and one of the three hammers also revolves the cylinder?

One hammer, three firing pins, manual selector. So you'd fire six shots, switch to next pin, fire six shots, switch to next pin, fire six shots, then insert a new moon-clip.

Oh, then there's this baby. By the chamber-layout, one can only assume it fires alternating 2-1 from the two barrels. Two shot top, then one bottom, then two top, then one bottom. 1854. Pretty crazy tech for the time.

Best thing is how all video games refuse to make a 93r model. "Just slap a front-grip on the 92, no one will tell the difference."

I wouldn't say all videogames, but here is an example of what you mentioned:

If Combat Arms can get it right, why can't bigger games?

Mmmh I have this as an electric airsofty. It almost looks like its real counterpart, minus the small rail I think.
But it's at my friend's place, been there for like year and a half now, I never got around to reclaiming it.

Well, the small rail is a later addition, a claw mount to bring the MP5 into the 21st century, where everything is a cheese-grater!
Perosnally, I prefer non-railed MP5s. They remind me of a simpler time; before 9/11. Back when terrorists were Americans with thick western European accents, and they'd take over tall buildings or banks or embassies and demand ransoms for hostages, but a single rouge, alcoholic cop is among the hostages and he ends up taking them all out...

Back then, life was better. Now, terrorists are all ethnic or domestic, and they do it because they have a really complicated cause to fight for, not because they're plain out evil or greedy.
Are you drinking again Riller?

Waaait a second. PKM uses non-disintegrating links. And it ejects out the left side, as opposed to the right. You would get the long-ass belt and spent casings right in your face firing that right-handed.
Are you drinking again Riller?
Nah. Classic, non-railed weapons just make me nostalgic for the 90's. Back when camo was splotches, not pixels, and weapons were smooth and sexy, not cheese-graters.
Waaait a second. PKM uses non-disintegrating links. And it ejects out the left side, as opposed to the right. You would get the long-ass belt and spent casings right in your face firing that right-handed.
Now you righties get to see how it feels
Yup, If that has the standard ejection of the PKM, when you fire that thing you are going to get a belt full of ejected links to the face, and if your face is too low some very violently ejected casings on the chin.
Also, it has a lunchbox for an ammocan:
Yup, If that has the standard ejection of the PKM, when you fire that thing you are going to get a face full of ejected links, and if your face is too low some very violently ejected casings on the chin.
No, you'd get a full belt. The PKM's belt doesn't disintegrate. It's 50-round strips linked together, it only breaks off once you've fired 50 rounds.
[editline]15th March 2014[/editline]
Scratch that, the belt segments are 25 rounds, not 50.

So? You can get hit by each link in the belt one at a time :V
Poor phrasing on my part.

Back when GSG-9 still wore Sumpfmuster covers on their TIGs and penis helmets, those were the days.
Before anyone asks, second guy isn't mounting a scope on his MP5. He's mounting a flashlight. That's how you did it back in the days!
