The cylinder gets pushed forward when you fire, which closes the gap between the cylinder and the barrel. Reloading is a pain, because you have to manually push out the shells with a pin, which isn't spring loaded. Overall it's a pretty revolver with an interesting design.

Damn, it really is. That recoil too.

It fires just like an airsoft gas blowback, but even quieter. Barely any recoil or sound.

I remember watching a Hickok video and when he fired a suppressed pistol, he said most of the sound came from the action of the pistol itself. Can't recall which video, could have been the one when he tested a wet suppressor against a dry one. But yeah, if that's true, revolvers don't have a lot of moving parts and the parts that do move don't make much noise.

[/QUOTE] The difference between the Beowulf and the ASh is that we built the Beo to shoot out Toyota's that'd been fitted with Katyusha launchers, the ASh is made for shooting Chechens, although given the current situation Russia seems confident it will work just as well on Ukrainians and Estonians.
