I got long shafts, short shafts, slim shafts, girthy shafts; big balls, small balls, dangly balls, balls in pairs, balls with spikes, balls with knobs, balls with wrinkles, all at Riller's Balls'n'shafts emporium!
No balls with dimples?
Best crossbow:
Always thought crossbows would be more useful with some sort of magazine. But the HL2 one cheats by having an autococker and firing cut down lengths of steel rebar that are electrically heated till they glow red hot. No clue how big a batteries it takes. Probably those horrid D ones.

The HL1 crossbow had magazines, as does the one in Black Mesa Also this talk of magazine fed crossbows inclined me to look up the crossbow from Black Ops 2 [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140321205701/callofduty/images/8/80/Crossbow_model_BOII.png[/t] That thing's weirder than I thought.
Are those spikes on the front of the foot loop for stabbing people with or something?
likely for a better grip
Are those spikes on the front of the foot loop for stabbing people with or something?
Well the front loop on crossbows originally is supposed to be so that you set it down, and put your foot through it, thus allowing you to draw the string with your hands. But since there's that weird end there that kinda would block your foot, I think it's just really shitty design.
New pictures of the MSBS Once again: Poland stronk.
Huh. Thought that was a masada at first. But I see I was mistaken. Oh well, sometimes its nice to be mistaken - that common upper receiver idea sounds maximum operator. Is there any info on the 7.62 version yet? Though those stanags really ruin the look :S
I think it's somewhat based off the Masada, so it should be a bit similar. Haven't heard anything on a 7.62 version. And yeah the Stanags do look a bit out of place, but I think that's balanced out by the bullpup grenade launcher. Also, the side by side shot does a pretty good job of illustrating the potential advantages of a bullpup format. Same barrel length, same distance from buttplate to trigger, but still a considerably shorter rifle.
the GL on it looks funky actually, the whole gun looks funky as hell [editline]8th April 2014[/editline] also thread needs more handguns [t]http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/PlayboyPenguin/SigP220Elite1.jpg[/t]
The Polish ACR (Let's not bother pretending it's anything but) in conventional layout looks kinda dumb, but the bullpup'd one looks awesome.
"handguns" I love American law sometimes.
"handguns" I love American law sometimes.
It gets dumber... Since a 'stock' is the bit of the rifle you rest against your shoulder, this motherfucker invented a chinrest for AR pistols. Because, you know, resting your weapon off it's center-of-force on a relatively weak part of your body is a brilliant idea.
And then someone realized it would just be easier to make stocks that also did things that you can legally do with a pistol, and sell them for that purpose

You can't bring it to eye-level with both hands on the gun. [editline]8th April 2014[/editline] The best solution to the AR-pistol-problem I've seen is to outfit your AR pistol with a rifle-length buffer instead of pistol or carbine length; and then tape a baby-shoe to your shoulder when you go shooting. The buffer is the same thickness as a baby-ankle, so it fits in the baby-shoe, and since the baby-shoe isn't on the rifle, but on your shoulder, it's not a weapons modification.
Using that thing for it's intended purpose, however, is one of the least accurate things in the history of the world. You can't bring it to eye-level with both hands on the gun.
Let's be honest though, that thing's "intended purpose" is only an arm brace to the ATF. But as long as it stays that way then it's a perfectly legal stock for AR pistols And now AK pistols.

Do things like this exist? I had a weird dream where I built a pistol Gatling gun and it was the coolest thing ever. I had everything figured out, the plans, diagrams, from start to finish and when I woke up ~vanish~. so I was thinking, is it actually possible to make something like this? Can it be small enough to fit and use in only 1 hand? even if the bullets are super small?

Yes, it's not like a gatling mechanism is overly complex and you could miniaturise it, but what'd be the point? it's not like it'd be very effective against anything if the caliber was small enough that you could support the gun with one hand and still have enough rounds to last you more than 3 seconds.
What are those arm strap stock things called, anyway?
SB-15 "stabilizing braces". The AK version is called the SB47.
Aw c'mon, crossbow talk in the previous page and nobody mentions the lil' cute wristbow from Perfect Dark? [editline]8th April 2014[/editline] Why can't the future be here already.
What about the wristbow from Deus Ex 1?
Also, the side by side shot does a pretty good job of illustrating the potential advantages of a bullpup format. Same barrel length, same distance from buttplate to trigger, but still a considerably shorter rifle.
Will still always have the inherent drawback of possible issues with length of pull for some people - fiddly reloads - and a lot of noise and vibration right next to your face. Don't get me wrong I'm a major fan of the bullpup format, it lets us have awesomeness like: But there are drawbacks, just as with more traditional layouts. Also, gratuitious F2000 portrait. I love the F2000, boat-gunny as it is. Bite me. Dat triggerpack though ; (
Monolith Arms frontgrip'd F2000 is hottest F2000.
Monolith Arms frontgrip'd F2000 is hottest F2000.
Agreed but without vertical grip. Also I would still take standard forearm or a slimmed down version simply because I prefer a horizontal grip. Smexiness intensifies:
I didn't know you guys were so into yachts
Was showing my step dad some modern guns like the xm8, f2000, tavor etc and he literally said; "why do these guns look like fish?" Coming from a guy that shot FALs FN MAGs and BHPs.. brilliant.
