Coolest/Ugliest Weapons V5 - Bullpup AKs are the best

My favourite HL2 weapons mod doesn't seem to exist any more, but it replaced all the Combine-used weapons (Pistol, SMG, shotgun, RPG) with more Combine-styled ones. The pistol was kinda shoddy, but the SMG was awesome, basically an AR2 carbine, and the shotgun was quite nice too.
Every time I see a picture of an L1A1 SLR I keep thinking how easy it probably is to get things smuggled in from New Zealand. I imagine customs doesn't really keep an eye out for packages from them.
They also don't have firearms registration for (most) guns so I could get one smuggled in.
Don't doo eeet - they'll lock you up D:
Just spend 17 monthes trying to apply for a hunting class lisence - so you can own a straight pull version with a plugged gasport - or just go and live in New Zealand. Then you can have all the semi auto airsoft and real steel versions your wallet can handle.
No one in Australia sells semis with plugged gas ports
Kyber pass mini AK anyone?

You could ask a gunsmith to modify one for you, if you could get your hands on one in the first place.
And then there are cool vehicles, with cool weapons

And then there's this absolute thing of beauty
its like a flying beluga

Changing a firearm in a manner that changes it class requires police approval.
Like they'll give you that.

Just like how in Queensland, P platers can't drive cars with turbochargers, if you buy one that has a turbo, then remove it, you still can't drive it because you modified the engine

You can drive a car with a turbo if it was made after 2010 but is under a certain power-to-weight ratio though.
So basically: 2009 Mini Cooper S, not allowed to drive because EVIL TURBOS
2010 Mini Cooper S, A-ok because it's under the power-to-weight limit.

You're right, I'm thinking of England.
How the hell was that a dumb post Zakkin -_- Sound logical lawful advice is apparently dumb these days.
Thought this might be of some interest to our American posters.

I've done some crazy-great sniping in ARMA III with that baby. Quickly fire three shots at 2000 metres at three targets; third round was shot before first round hit :v:

ACE2 Tac-Fiddy will always be the best LRR in the Armaverse.
Period.
nothing better than a flatmag ak.

AK2012 still has the worst grip position in the history of anything, ever. Shouldering that, your trigger-hand is like, right up in your armpit.
Not bullpup, and not exactly AK, but still nice

Now I wonder what a bullpup conversion on one of these would be like?

The SIG 55x series of rifles is all AK clones, though. Western AK is bestern AK.

Swiss anything is best everything.

Except for cheese. Swiss cheese is horribad.
FG-42 is neat and all, but... where do the spent casings eject from? Does the gun eat them and shit bullets???

I think on this thing the shells eject from that spot above the charging handle, if you look there appears to be a bolt covering a hole, and a hinged dust cover above that.

To my knowledge, all FG-42's and clones thereof eject right, horizontal feed from the mag to the chamber to the port on the other side, a fairly elegant system, though not particularly left hand friendly.
I've always liked the Fallschirmjäger gwhere, its like a retro-future streamlined FAL, but as Sport System Deitrich are the only people I know of making modern day clones or spare parts, I wouldn't really recommend one for any sort of serious conflict.
Still smexy though ^_^
Donkey dick!

[sp]By the way, donkey dicks are fuckin' great grips on AKs. Comfy and smooth and lets you tug the rifle tight to the shoulder without holding against the mag or your hand slipping.[/sp]

I recall there being a US based company making semi-auto (and by extension closed bolt) only reproduction FG-42s.
Here they are, they're called SMG guns, these repros run almost $5,000 US a pop.

They also make a .308 version that feeds from M1a mags.

Mhmm equine penises. I really dislike the look of those wooden foregrips. Or foregrips on an AK at all actually - well, except for that dashing little thumb-hole one, that just looks muchos comfy to me. But to each their own.
Oh wait..this is a firearms thread?
Here, have much sexy, Ak 107, my choice from big selection of Super Kalashinakov, Maximum Operator Collection of year 1994.

And its somewhat uglier (in my eyes) sibling, Sagia export model:
