Pfft, commies.
Ew. Dunno what it is about the scar but it always looks deformed to me. I appreciate the US showing interest in a proper piston driven rifle, something akin to a G36, but the Scar just always looks weird to me. Unlike the Masada <3 [img_thumb]http://www.airsoftstore.ca/blog/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/IMG_1646.jpg[/img_thumb] Sexy DMR variant plz marry me. I want your babiez. Especially if I can swap out that ergo stock for the regular variant.
Waffle Mag. Yum.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/C95P6D4.jpg[/t] Savage Arms Model 42 hot or not?
I love the separated barrels and exposed hammer.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/C95P6D4.jpg[/t] Savage Arms Model 42 hot or not?
What IS it? Semi auto centerfire? Over under break open? Semi auto rimfire with tubular mag? EDIT: Never-mind I see the pivot. Pretty neat. Not a fan of the red text though. Should have gone with H&K style white lettering or just plain molded.
.22 on top, .410 on bottom
Two handed Italian falchions [t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZhKwqKaGqUk/TphkJaigdcI/AAAAAAAAAg4/pohFAYe_jaE/s1600/Maciejowski%2BTwo%2BHand%2BFalchion.jpg[/t] [t]http://static.mijnwebwinkel.nl/winkel/celticwebmerchant/full29892574.jpg[/t] very ugly weapons, and definitely ranks # 1 or 2 on my list of "top ten things I hope I never get struck with"
mace, or warhammer is my no. 1 and no. 2 respectively.
blunt weapons in general are nasty and I do not wish to be struck with one.

On the topic of bladed weapons, let me show you a sword that's as good as any other sword (or better depending on if you like one handed bladed weapons or not) Apparently the vikings back then made special swords with a mysterious technique that got all (or most) of the slag out, which meant the sword was strong enough to break through chainmail Also lol at the random ulfberht on the blade
On the topic of bladed weapons, let me show you a sword that's as good as the katana, the ulfberht Apparently the vikings back then made special swords with a mysterious technique that got all (or most) of the slag out, which meant the sword was strong enough to break through chainmail Also lol at the random ulfberht on the blade
Lemme show you a sword better than the katana... The moderately-sized stick. It can be wielded one-handed, so you can have a shield in your other hand, unlike the shitty fucking bullshit cunt-ass dumbfuck "We-don't-evolve-our-sword-at-all-over-a-800-year-period" shining beacon of regression and stubborn conservatism that is the katana.
Well like i said, ulfberht is one handed and can break chainmail I also wasn't aware of the katana being terrible, i thought it could cut through few things in one swing
Well like i said, ulfberht is one handed and can break chainmail I also wasn't aware of the katana being terrible, i thought it could cut through few things in one swing
You're right, there's very few things the katana can cut through in one swing. Also, yeah, Ulfberht is neat. Made of Indian actual-steel instead of the traditional Scandinavian bog-water-mud steel. [editline]22nd April 2014[/editline] [sp]And as for the katana, don't take my opinion of it as actual fact, just as you shouldn't take the legends and hear-say about it as fact either. It's a slab of sharp metal. It cuts people. It does it moderately well, for a tool only required to make thin slices through bamboo armour and never strike a shield or proper helmet. I'd still rather use a shield and a moderately sized stick than I would a katana.[/sp]

Guess you know when you've time traveled to the future when firearms and melee have gone the way of the dodo bird and corgis and pugs have replaced all forms of weaponry/fighting
What is this, Hogwarts School of Weaponcraft and Weaponry?? 10 points to House Kalashnikov if I get it right?
Yes. Yes it is. There's three houses, the Kalashniknobs, the Armalights and the Heckling Cocks.

German longswords coolest and classiest of swords. It reeks of civilization and class, unlike those barbaric excuses of pointy sticks you lot posted.

No, the spikes near the base of the blade aren't for stabbing people, they're secondary quillons to protect your hands when you 'shorten' the sword by gripping it by the blade and the pommel and start stabbing.

while we're on big swords, the zweihander nothing like a sword as big(if not bigger) than your opponent(and yourself, most likely). a hit from this would ruin your day.
while we're on big swords, the zweihander nothing like a sword as big(if not bigger) than your opponent(and yourself, most likely). a hit from this would ruin your day.
I kinda hate when people call the so-called 'zweihänder' a zweihänder instead of, I don't know, Germanic greatsword or something. Zweihander literally means two-hander in German, and I promise you, if you took a German two-hander to England and sold it there, you'd call it a German two-hander or a German greatsword, and if you brought a Scottish greatsword to Germany, you'd sell it as a Schottischer Zweihänder. The whole 'use-a-foregin-word-that-basically-describes-the-item' school of naming is dumb to me. [editline]22nd April 2014[/editline] And yes, I did it myself when I spoke of the Gladius above, I know. Force-of-habit for that one, should've called it a Roman short-sword... Or, in the case of the one I posted for which the wide blade-base still haven't been guessed, the Spanish-style Roman shortsword.
