It's the bastard child of a Remington Hunting Rifle, and AR-15.
If it comes in .25-.45 Sharps, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. Best hunting rifle. By the way... One of these days someone will develop a .22LR in centerfire.

Less ft/lb depending on the round, but it's close enough. I sorta wish .17HM2 caught on. Was a pretty interesting round.

In some ways, but the magazine well/bolt catch are pretty much identical to the 15, and the upper looks more AR-15-ish as well

Interesting fact: The K2 rifle is not related to the K1 carbine at all.

no the xb70 pilots ejected, the f104 pilot never ejected and stayed in the plane till it slammed into the ground

Got my synthetic stock in today. I do plan on refinishing the original wooden stock some time in the future but this one should work nicely until then. Although, unfortunately, I had to cut off one of the rings that holds the wood bits together since I couldnt get it to come off

Yes, but since the receiver (both upper and lower) seem to be a copy of an M16, it made sense to copy the Colt 9mm SMG which used a block in the standard magwell to accommodate 9mm Uzi mags.

Agreed, that's also the problem with the look of AR-15 SMGs, and 5.56 uppered LE901s, the lower receiver is designed to maintain compatibility with a larger cartridge, so when you stick shorter cartridges into it, it looks weird.

Unless you go for a side feeding or top feeding upper - and use the magwell as a downwards ejection port.
I think the Colt 9mm SMG and K7 look cool as fuck, who cares about the magwell being larger

I meant that I could not get it off of the barrel after I had removed the wood. Forcing it did not work and it did not slip over the front sight like the larger ring did. And I could not get the front sight to move with a punch. Maybe I didnt hit hard enough but I did not want to damage it.
