My favorite bayonet will always be the old broad fronted German ones Something about them just looks so nice to me and I want one
I love how the Australians looked at those early British sub guns and thought "not crooked enough", then put the mags on top, they did it a second time with the F1 Sort of their version of the Sterling, compatible with Sterling mags, and still took bayonets.
Uh, no, it has nothing to do with that. The guns are made upside-down to work with Australian gravity.

(errybuddy post your fav bayonets)
Hmm, never really thought about it, but these are pretty neat: Oh and this is cool: Wait...
If anything, an above-bore mount makes more sense than a below-bore one; more in-line with how you'd thrust your rifle.

[t]http://www.thespecialistsltd.com/files/M1_Carbine_Paratrooper.jpg[/t] I actually like the M1 Carbine Paratrooper version.
I looked at this and for some reason thought the bayonet had been mounted over the muzzle, and was going to act like some sort of knife/rifle grenade. Instantly I had an awesome mental image and wished that said thing existed.
You could totally do it too, just give it some folding fins. Some ballistic knives are powered by pistol blanks, so I don't see why not.
This is pretty cool
Belgian Special Force optical equipment are seen during a joint exercise in Leopoldsburg, Belgium, on May 16, 2014.
This is pretty cool
Is there a person hiding in there somewhere?
pretty sure that's the new experimental USMC war android

Kinda wonder if shot would graze the end of the bayonet, though.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/k6WBqrD.jpg[/t] The British No. 7 Bayonet almost looks dieselpunkish to me.
That is the sexiest handle I've ever seen on a knife holy fuck

You can push it out quite a bit without it being likely to get hit, should be the same with a blade. Also that thing on the bottom is a speed loader/stripper clip guide, lets you load up the mag ridiculously fast.

Does it work in conjunction with these?
Pretty sure it works with the long tubes that you push against the loading gate, then push shells in.
Interesting...in the origional pic, I thought I saw some of those stripper type deals on the shooters belt, down near the center of the bottom border? Or am I mistaking that for something else.

Also, does anyone know what those things are for anyway? My guess would be quick access to spare shells but I'm not sure. [editline]ninjas[/editline]
This is how you use these:
I guess that answers my question then.
