Pretty sure using the irons would leave a mark after the action pops you in the jaw.

That's the muzzelite, it's a bullpup conversion for the mini-14. It showed up in a lot of films in the 80's.

Unfortunately it seems the pictures of the latter have been deleted.

The Vz. 58's standard furniture is not bakelite, it's a mix of wood shavings and plastic, commonly referred to as "beaver barf". Although I believe there's some export versions with bakelite, and an increasing variety of aftermarket furniture available.

Same for switchblades. I've actually used both, and they're handy. It's certainly better than having to fumble about with your fingernail while trying to open a standard folding knife when you need to open something.
