looks like an airgun
How do you pump? How pump it? Where air go?
How do you pump? How pump it? Where air go?
Precharged probably. The Vulcan is awesome.
I imagine in the big bottom tube.
I imagine in the big bottom tube.
I thought as much, and it looks like you just stick a CO2 canister into the bottom tube. I really like the look of both of those air rifles, though.

But it looks more like the type with a refillable built in air canister. So you might be able to refill it from a compressed air canister, or like a bicycle pump.

That is a Gebirgjäger k98.
Looks a lot like this Czech Vz.24 to me But I could be wrong, I suck at identifying old bolt guns.
Gewehr 24 [editline]3rd June 2014[/editline] which is a modified vz.24 i'll split the prize
It's actually funny, if you image search the German guy, it takes you to an imgur link where the title is "German Solider Right Before He Is Killed" and everyone is jerking off over how great the shutter speed is on the camera because they think the shell casing he just ejected is actually an incoming bullet. [editline]3rd June 2014[/editline] automerge died of old age it seems
Sometimes it's easy to forget how little people actually know about firearms in general
Sometimes it's easy to forget how little people actually know about firearms in general
It hurts my soul when I speak to people who don't know a lot, and I just for the sake of avoiding to explain myself call all AK's 47s, all AR's M4s and so forth.

I told him it was actually a bolt-action and he was just like "same thing right?"
I have a friend of mine who is actually a lieutenant in the army who called my Mosin a "single-shot". I told him it was actually a bolt-action and he was just like "same thing right?"
That's cos officers don't know shit.
That's cos officers don't know shit.
he's the worst kind of officer, promoted from cadet to lieutenant because he got his bachelors degree
he's the worst kind of officer, promoted from cadet to lieutenant because he got his bachelors degree
I know a Captain that got the position because she has a nursing degree... she has only done basic, and a Jnr Leader course (CPL equivalent).

Also, I love the look of the HK SL7 (so pretty) But they're no longer in production, and they are also expensive ($3,000ish) [editline]4th June 2014[/editline]
I have a friend of mine who is actually a lieutenant in the army who called my Mosin a "single-shot".
Sometimes it's easy to forget how little people actually know about firearms in general
Or cameras.
Why do guns manufactured in Asia always look like they have some ugly metal? I mean, its not that they are ugly, but the metal/polymer/whatever they're made of always looks so weird.
Why do guns manufactured in Asia always look like they have some ugly metal? I mean, its not that they are ugly, but the metal/polymer/whatever they're made of always looks so weird.
Probably just made of cheaper steel if I were to guess.
Probably just made of cheaper steel if I were to guess.
It's probably got more to do with their finish, which I have heard is quite different to most western manufacturers, even the eastern bloc stuff.

A brazen, 18-hour Taliban attack on the Afghan capital ended early Monday when insurgents who had holed up overnight in two buildings were overcome by heavy gunfire from Afghan-led forces and pre-dawn air assaults from U.S.-led coalition helicopters.

I showed this to an ex service man, and he told me that was common practice to 'set' the gun in place. Can anyone verify that? He was an RM.
