The newer versions look quite different from that original, mainly the trigger guard, safety, magwell, and that big round (mag release?) on the receiver.

Somehow i don't think any bullets of any shape would feed reliably with a curve in the magazine like that.

There are some aspects of 40k I like, but very few of the weapon designs have ever looked good to me.

Standard rounds are .75 caliber or 19mm, heavy bolters are .998 caliber or just over 25mm.

...in my opinion, it'd be these babies. Take away the fact that they had some creepy sentience going on, they were awesome. Four powerful robot arms, two for wrecking shit and two for stability, or just use them all and move anywhere you want to. And they were connected directly to the spine so at least there's a little bit of realism in there.

I recall that after when I watched the movie for the first time, all I wanted was those arms. Imagine what I could do, mmf. Oh, and to further the weapon potential, IIRC they also had pop-out spikes in them, too?

A bolt action pistol is pretty dumb anyways. Lever action gets a pass because it's possible to prime it with one hand, but unless you're Mister Fantastic, it's impossible to do that with a Bolt action.
