And remember, Area 88/UN Squadron is about an airfield in a remote location in the middle east during the 1970s - 1980s. All the pilots are mercenaries that came from all over the world, they're top fighters from their nation's air force. Shin Kazama is from Japan, [sp]and he got into Area 88 by accidentally signing a contract for it unbeknownst to him it being a mercenary air force.[/sp]

Which is indigenous to North Korea, but based on both the PK and the Vz.52, which in turn was based on the Vz.26, the Bren was just a modified Vz.26 so that's probably why they look similar.

I don't believe the Russians themselves ever actually used Vz.26 derivatives, although I know the Chinese did.

But I can't find a decent shot of those from the right side to see, and they really don't look right for that either, they look more like CZ-75s.

The DPROK produces CZ-75s locally under the name Baek Du San, which supposedly literally translates to 'Mt. Baekdu', the highest peak on the Korean Penninsula, which is featured on the DPROK's national emblem. From what I've found, it was formerly issued to pilots (in regular finish) and officers as a ceremonial weapon (in the ridiculous faux-chrome finish), but it's now the standard infantry sidearm. Which probably doesn't count for much with their likely production rates. Funnily enough, it apparently comes in a target-pistol variation:

Why can't more games have weapons like Deus Ex Human Revolution? I mean the revolver is goddamn amazin'. Instead of being all "oh let's make it bulky and techy and have it look super sci-fi futuristic" they made that shit sleek, powerful and into a goddamn hand-cannon. There's the classic HL2 .357 Colt Python, based offa this beaut.

Use the HEV suit's zoom function and you practically had a hand-held sniper rifle, better than the crossbow could ever hope to be (though the crossbow itself is [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3MP0z2_IyE]pretty damn rad[/url] and is a ghetto rebar launcher I mean come on that's cool)

And then there's TF2. My personal fave of the TF2 revolvers, mainly because I like my revolvers to be classed as "Hand Cannons", "Wristfuckers" or "Compensators", is the goddamn Ambassador.
