No. But the gun it's attached to can fire tracers. Why would you want to fire tracers from a weaker weapon that isn't even ballisiticly matched with the main weapon. The concept of a spotting rifle for rocket launchers/recoilless launchers is so you can help aim your shot without wasting rockets that you can't carry many of. Also spotting rifles are matched to the rocket so that the path of both is the same, iirc the american SMAW's spotting rifle is something like " Each round consists of a special 9mm tracer bullet, crimped into a 7.62x51mm NATO casing with a .22 Hornet blank cartridge for propellant." [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] its not practical because you could carry 1 extra 20round mag of tracer or waste your underbarrel rail add 0.95 lb to your gun carry say 4x 5rnd .22 tracer (or a longer mag that would restrict your ability to lay down) and the .22's bullet wouldnt even fly similarly to the main gun, unless you wanted to mount a underbarrel 22 to a 22
Carry one extra mag and be forced to switch to that mag if you want tracers, or use the underbarrel tracer dispenser. Seems pretty practical.
I made some firearms: Most expensive Lightest Heaviest
you dont get it .22 tracer is like useless if you want to mark a target theres plenty of ways to do it without carrying .22s IR laser get the guy with a 203 to fire smoke throw a smoke throw a glowstick pop a flare pop a penflare m203 a flare [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] theres no justification to carry a shitty plastic .22 on the bottom of your gun
Right, but there's no way to look cool while doing it.
But it doesn't look cool, it looks like shit.
Right, but there's no way to look cool while doing it.
Are you saying an underbarrel M203 doesn't look cool?
ZiPSBR™ Rail The ZiPSBR™ Rail allows the ZiP Operator to attach ZiP™ to another platform such as a AR-15 or SCAR. ZiP™ can be attached to your rifle or shotgun platform with the ZiPSBR Rail. ** Note: SBR stands for a special classification of weapon (In this case a pistol) when transformed into an SBR- or Short Barreled Rifle. As such, purchase of a rail or a stock does not require an Approved ATF Form 1, however, USE OF THOSE COMPONENTS while in combination with ZiP™ (attached to another platform) does Require an Approved Form 1 for legal use. MSRP $39.99. Now available from Amazon.com
huh, guess its just a .22LR pistol that you can mount onto a much better gun for no real reason other than to have a .22LR pistol on your AR-15 [editline]12th July 2014[/editline]
Instead of notching the frame for a bolt-mounted charging handle like you might see on a 10/22 or other semi-auto rifle, ZiPFactory decided to put two charging rods out front, right over the muzzle. Yes. Right over the muzzle.
its super safe, i mean its got 5 safeties [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] none of which matter if you blow your finger off
one of these things is not like the other
Well, yeah. One is a bayonet, the rest are regular Bowies.
2014, time when wars are won by looking cool
The Zip is the equivalent of an EA title for weapons it needs a DLC to even shoot.

This gun fired 13 mm rockets. Sounds cool but the rockets lack the stopping power to kill someone.
Well, only up close. They took some time to get up to speed so at close range they were ineffective at best, and they were also pretty inaccurate since the rockets required far more precise manufacturing than we were capable of at the time it was built (I'd love to see a modern reproduction of Gyrojet rockets, it would work much better).
Who gives a fuck what gear your soldiers have, Tier 1 operators [sp]Dugan Ashley[/sp] have taught me that it's all about the aesthetic.
they told me in the army that the one who's seen first, dies first [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] though russians use 5.45 these days so I can probably hide behind a tree and shoot my glorious 7.62 at them and not die
i wonder with the darpa-guided bullet and modern chemistry, could we see a resurgence of the rocket gun, i mean if the bullet weren't restricted to the velocity imparted to it by the gun, it could punch through like specific parts of vehicles
(I'd love to see a modern reproduction of Gyrojet rockets, it would work much better).
reproduce it with modern engineering in some crazy big caliber and you have a Boltgun
