How about this this weapon, evolved over thousands of years of beatin' shit up: Your hand quadruples in density when you clench your fist. And you should un-learn what I said about the human face evolving if you read it. If there's a game where I can use fists effectively, I will. Skyrim with the heavy armour perk, TF2 with Heavy's fists, it's just radical.
Ever since the TF2 Beta, I have always used the stock Fists for Heavy. Later when rename tags were introduced, I named them "Hippie Punchers" to make uniquely-named copy of the priceless but powerful, original fists. [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] Other renamed stock items of mine include: the aluminium bat for Scout named "Breakage" as a reference to BB, the knife for Spy named "Silver Shank" probably referenced to something as well, and the rocket launcher for Soldier named "RAKETENPANZERBUCHSE" with the description "IT BUCHSE PANZER WITH RAKETENS" as a reference to one particular 4chon meme.

They're at exactly 1400 kills because I give myself a quota of 100 faces punched each day, which I started a few days ago. Before that it just racked up anything that walked into them. And yes, I've killed tanks with them.
Oh, those.. I made a mock-up item of strange/kill-count items (I never liked 'em) by describing my stock shotgun with "Kills: countless."
This is the best variant of the Fists in TF2:

Where can I get one of those?
Where can I get one of those?
Well, its an SBS, so depending on your state you can't; even then, have fun waiting on the NFA paperwork. You can put the magpul furniture and ghost ring sights on a mossberg 500 or rem 870 though.
It doesn't have a barrel and this bothers me massively. The cooling-holes are in line with the barrel, but the handguard is empty :v:
A bit of a delayed reply here (just got back from my vacation) but I took a look at the models and it does actually have a barrel that goes all the way through, it's just the vents on the handguard model are a bit high.

Pretty obvious how they use it, whip it forward at your enemy? I am guessing their enemies didn't have anything particularly advanced to fight them, and judging from the outfit that guy is wearing I am guessing neither side had any real armor.
The one pictured could perhaps be a ceremonial weapon?

Bad news guys, apparently Izhmash/Kalashnikov concern was hit by new sanctions, so it looks like that means it'll be some time before the US starts seeing some AK-12s and Saiga 107s.
I've been wanting a Saiga for so long...
The last Saiga I encountered had some serious jamming issues but was otherwise kinda amazing
I've been wanting a Saiga for so long...
Existing imports are still legal, and open to resale provided Izhmash isn't involved in the transaction, so you can probably buy used if you want one, the problem is that they hadn't yet begun to export their civilian models of the AK-12 and the AK-107, so those will never come Stateside until the sanctions are lifted.
Yes, while that is true, I'm sure people selling their Saigas will be asking for a looot of money thanks to the sanctions. Also, is the AK-12 any good? Does it perform as well as its predecessors? Because I'm not sure I'd trust a gun that looks like it's made of lego. Prusselusken, that was sarcasm, keep crying
I really don't care much at all about the AK-12, I was more interested in the AK-107 since the Saiga Mk.107 would've been the first sporting AK with the balanced recoil system. This animation more or less demonstrates how it works, dual gas pistons cycling in opposite directions to counter each other's weight and keep the weapon balanced. Supposedly it's highly effective at reducing recoil. Much more unique from a mechanical standpoint, pretty much all the AK-12 brings to the table is a tonna rails, new fire selector, and a charging handle that can be switched to the other side, just about all of which can already be found on aftermarket parts for normal AKs.
As with any kind of product though, the quality is usually higher with the manufacturer than most aftermarket manufacturers.
If you want a good, modern AK with proper first-party rail estate, buy a SIG.
That would betray the motherland.

Full auto .22s
Reliability seems like a concern to me in the AK-107, it's for military after all. Talking about AK's, in the army my RK62 failed to fire once during the entire year I was there. No idea if it was faulty ammo or the fact that it had rained for 3 days and the thing was full of sand and water. Sometimes we shot ~400 rounds a day, no problem. The magazines were too keen to jam on wet days when sand got in to them though
Full auto .22s
The sound reminds me of a medium sized sewing machine.
The sound reminds me of a medium sized sewing machine.
It also looks entirely joyless to shoot. Like a moderately powerful airsoft.
It also looks entirely joyless to shoot. Like a moderately powerful airsoft.
So also reminding one of a medium sized sewing machine :v: Basically this gun is actually a medium sized sewing machine.
