Pictures please?
Only have this picture from when I just bought it. I might be a bit more artsy and take some pics of it in the backyard. [editline]3rd August 2014[/editline] And I forgot you can't tag pictures from dropbox.. Welp.
I also decided to be a real dumbass and see how well it cuts, by cutting some of the hair on my leg. A few minutes after I noticed my leg was bleeding. Barely even touched the skin with it, yet I had given myself two small cuts next to each other :v:
Not a weapon request but a military uniform one. I'm a fan of Splinter Cell and the whole hide-in-dark mechanic but I also hear it's stupid to dress in complete black. Does anyone have a picture what a night op gear looks like? Or is it just regular camo?
I have one of the parkas. They're pretty neat. Aparrently they're also completely useless in the role they were designed for, and actually made the user more obvious to nightvision than the choco-chip BDUs. And something i find interesting is that the 'Dual-Tex' vehicle camo trialled by the 2nd Cavalry in the 1980s works on kind of the same principle where the idea was to confuse the grid-based night vision sensors by having a grid-based pattern (or something like that) [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/tanks/dualtex1.jpg[/t] And the research done by the guy who came up with Dual-Tex led to the development of Marpat and the other modern US digital camos, too.

Berlin brigade camo for best vehicle camo! Still used today by Philippine marines! ive seen that referred to as "minecraft camo" before oy
I wonder how effective it is against modern satellites with higher resolutions.
I wonder how effective it is against modern satellites with higher resolutions.
Not at all. Even if it were, shadows totally give anything away on satellite photos, no matter how well hidden it is.
One of my Chechen war acquaintances told me about this home-made eh... some gun? It was used by Chechen rebels in Chechen war (1st I think). There's more of those kind of guns and they all supposedly ugly as all hell but I couldn't find more photos. Think WH40k orkz gunz but uglier. Also, actual Bull-pup AK.
ive seen that referred to as "minecraft camo" before oy
I was thinking lego looks like we've got an efficient trap for whenever mechs come into service, just cover the tanks with some camo net and wait for the mechs to step on 'em
[editline]4th August 2014[/editline] Home made shotguns.
That staplegun trigger mechanism thingy is so weird and unique.
How would they load it?
How would they load it?
Possibly hinged or sliding, most likely take it apart.
There's a hinge under the middle of the barrel. I can't seem to find any sort of locking mechanism though so the barrel is probably free-swinging. :v:
How would they load it?
Very carefully.

No, Grout Gun PIATs PIATs always reminded me of grout guns: Edit: Its been done already! Rocket launching grout gun! :V
Ultimate Hi-Point
For those wondering, here's the video associated with it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KjQk244oW9c
Let me take the opportunity to say that the EOTech EXPS3 in the picture weighs just less than a third of what the Hi-point does, and costs more than three times as much.
Let me take the opportunity to say that the EOTech EXPS3 in the picture weighs just less than a third of what the Hi-point does, and costs more than three times as much.
Prolly have to slap a bigass, heavy sight on it since they claimed to have lightened the slide, which'll actually break a hi-point since the dumb bulk is part of what makes it work*. Also, I adore the fact that they could mill away this much crap... And still have a working* gun. *The word 'work' is used in the loosest sense of the word imaginable when talking about hi-point.

Ehh, I like the original MPX-K a lot more:
That staplegun trigger mechanism thingy is so weird and unique.
It's pretty awesome, not the first one I've seen though. [t]http://puu.sh/aGRCf/9d0995a1fc.jpg[/t] [editline]e[/editline] Googling "staple gun gun" gave me a couple more results, I guess staple guns are really good for these sorta improvised weapons :v: [t]http://www.armoryblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/staple-gun-pistol.jpg[/t] [editline]e[/editline] This one is pretty badass: [t]http://www.projectafterforums.com/uploads/monthly_09_2013/post-434-1379778204.jpg[/t]
Fuck that shit, that thing has "misfire" written all over it.
Fuck that shit, that thing has "misfire" written all over it.
I think that is part of the charm though
Fuck that shit, that thing has "misfire" written all over it.
Yeah, I wouldn't fire one of those unless my life was at risk anyway and I was wearing particularly thick gloves.
