i'd rather go with the FNP than the SIG, even if they developed the bullet it doesn't change the fact that the FNP is a pistol i'd prefer over the 226. it being able to shoot 357s is just a bonus, because from what i've heard so far it's my kind of round. before i even start seriously considering buying a gun (i'm already decided on doing so at least some time in my life) i'm probably going to go to a range and try out a bunch of different firearms. who knows, i might skip the pistol phase all together and go with a remmy. after all i love shotguns.

9x19mm is a relatively low pressure round, and because of it's low internal volume, the pressure spikes out very quickly. You just don't need a massive thick barrel past a few inches
