So I saw this Jesus, they made a fish. How ugly.
Say what you will about the new fishgun, but that new Ultimax looks sexy. The SMG is pretty neat as well, looks like a less boxy TMP.
That thing based on the SAR just looks silly; U-100 is my raifu tho
Let's just, for shits and giggles, play a game of word-association. Just post something that has some connection, no matter how big or how small, to what previous poster threw up here. [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] (Of course, explain the connection real quick, too)
Every jeep needs a .30 imo.
That thing based on the SAR just looks silly; U-100 is my raifu tho
I gotta agree the U-100 is rad, managed to carry it once, and its so much more comfy than that fucking SAR21 And SAR21 was difficult as fuck to clean, and jam so damn easily. Then again, the ones we had was used for over 10 years for god knows how many Basic Training. They basically cleaned up the rifle and use it for the next batch, and on and on.
Check out this sexy saber. Simple but elegant. (Sorry for the obnoxiously large watermarks, these aren't my images.) [t]http://www.kultofathena.com/images\500872_4_l.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.darkknightarmoury.com/images/PRODUCT/large/500872_3_.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.kultofathena.com/images\500872_8_l.jpg[/t] [t]http://www.kultofathena.com/images\500872_2_l.jpg[/t] That hilt though.
Check out this sexy saber. Simple but elegant. (Sorry for the obnoxiously large watermarks, these aren't my images.) That hilt though.
Sabers aren't really my thing. I prefer longswords. Since that is what I use when I practice HEMA. Plus, longswords in general are badass. Simple, yet a ton of different ways to use it.
You need more. Specifically, claymore. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/50/Scottish_claymore_replica_(Albion_Chieftain)2.jpg[/t] And this is how big it is next to someone:
Not exactly the Girandoni Air Rifle, but still an amazing weapon.
You need more. Specifically, claymore. Finesse, speed and accuracy is the difference between you being stabbed, and your opponent being stabbed. Gotta give it to you though. Claymores are cool.

But in an all-out medieval conflict/war...well The Hound said it best: "He won because he had armor. And a big fucken' sword."
And it wrecks shit in Killing Floor.
True, but learning the whole DIY process for how to build these things is pretty interesting/fun. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ef/Cordite_Filled_Cartridge.JPG/1920px-Cordite_Filled_Cartridge.JPG[/t] It's considerably a step above manufacturing basic gun powder, but it's practical enough to manufacture in such a way where shipping it wouldn't exactly be a piss off.
"And if you pry open the shell, you'll find a secret stash of spaghetti just waiting to be boiled" [editline]8th September 2014[/editline]
And it wrecks shit in Killing Floor.
Considering the bloat is literally full of shit, the claymore is perfect for slashing your enemies' intestines from a distance, like a 6-foot distance
[t]http://www.rockislandauction.com/photos/52/p_standard/XMB690-Z-F2-L.jpg[/t] I dig the ar-18.
actually looks like a straight m-16 without triangles, sept for the triangle front which is awsome
It might be larger, but you can move the longsword around way faster than a claymore.
There isn't that much of a difference in length between your average claymore and average longsword, a claymore is essentially just a Scottish style longsword.

(not that it really takes that much space anyway.) As MegaChalupa also said:
There isn't that much of a difference in length between your average claymore and average longsword, a claymore is essentially just a Scottish style longsword.
The length of both a longsword and the claymore isn't that different. Also depends on where the longsword would originate from. Since there were different designs for a longsword. If you really wanna poke someones eye out from the other side of the battlefield with a sword. Get yourself one of these bad boys. fuck yeah. Thats manly. Also. I can't help but be slightly annoyed when people use the term 'Zweihander' as if it were some other kind of sword than the greatsword. Since it litterally means 2 hander, or 2 handed sword. Which is known as a greatsword
I think it comes mostly from vidyagames, where if you see a 'Zweihander', its generally the weird curvy two-handed sword.
Probably, yeah. Never seen or heard the term being used to describe a curved sword though.
It probably comes from people playing dark souls too much why they call greatswords in general zweihanders.
i like the barebones nature of the m6 survival rifle [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] oooh it looks cool wrapped in paracord
I wonder how many miles of paracord you'd have if you unwrapped all that.
I'd totes conceal-carry a Gladius
Gladius' are cool, but I like something I can play with in my spare time. The Macuahuitl, used by the Aztecs. A bit like a cross between a sword, a club, an axe, and a cricket bat. Pretty brutal weapon if you ask me.
Discreet weaponry is a relatively new concept in history, usually warriors would be proud to boast their weapons, sporting them for all to see. In fact, let me show you some of these various anglo-saxon fittings and other ornamental wargear. They were uncovered in the Staffordshire hoard. If anyone knows of a culture which produced more beautiful jewelry than this, I would like them to tell me. Clearly, these pieces were made with the philosophy of magnificence over comeliness. Images from staffordshirehoard, on Flickr. As a testimony to their hypnotic qualities, I had to force myself from posting all the findings here. I encourage you to look at the rest.
Well, they're all sword fittings. Those pyramids were placed on the scabbard, and there's a few pommels in there as well. But yeah, perhaps I'm getting carried away. Thus I'm going to share these with Auxilary Pics as well.
