Either way when i hear the word tank i usually imagine the Strv-103:

It really sucks that there's barely, if any, of these bad boys still in service...
It really just is a SPG that wanted to be a tank. The idea was neat though.

I'm not into millitary fashion.
I am however into ridiculous guns and armored vehicles, which is what this thread should be for.

It's the forwards-backwards bullpup-tank!
Looks like a more refined P38K

Which is hellasexy.
Whenever I hear the word "Tank" I immediately think of the T-34-85 and the M4A3E8.

Also I recently saw Fury. No matter what you thought of the movie, you've gotta admit that the easy eight they were using was pretty cool.

amazing movie
[editline]19th October 2014[/editline]
also shows pretty realistic tank v tank action, when tanks get blown up in it they don't explode into giant holywood fireballs, they just sorta...pop and catch fire

Yeah, the director and visual effects artists did an amazing job at that movie. The effects look so amazingly awesome. Fury was an outstanding movie in my book.

I think he was referring to the broken image he tried to include in his post but is turning up a 403.

Yep, Swedish. Means chariot. Which is pretty great.
Or well, at least it does in Danish.

I'm not a big gun person but wood furniture Galils make me tingle.

Galils in general are pretty rad. They're like AKs, perfected.

How does a Galil differ from a RK anyway? Other than the cartridge of course.

Being sexy and not made from drainage pipes and scrap metal. Otherwise, pretty much the same.

That one is one of those sexy-ass carbines from the pre-cheesegrater era. Like the FNC, SIG-551 and HK-33...

That short, glorious era between the 1980's and the 2000's where we realized that carbines were pretty rad, but the AR15 hadn't gained complete dominance quite yet, and iron sights were best sights.
