Personally, I prefer the originals. The K2 looks awesome without any rails or shit stuck to it.
At least it reminds me how cool the Shortdot is. OPERATOR done right. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] That one's for you, asteroidrules.
SUSATs are terrible though
No, the SUSAT is the ultimate British optical solution. Made specifically to be complained about until people know how to use it, it can be used as a last resort as a miniature tritium release canister to ensure that you did something to whatever it was you were actually trying to hit.
Always seemed like a pretty awful reticle to me... Then again, the C79 Elcan reticle we use ain't the best either.
Is there even a reticle that's visible in all conditions? If you put the Elcan's reticle on a dark background, you couldn't see shit with it
Is there even a reticle that's visible in all conditions? If you put the Elcan's reticle on a dark background, you couldn't see shit with it
Elcan's tip lights up green in the dark, but you can't see that in daylight.
i thought the SUSAT also had a light up tip? or is that just in STALKER
i thought the SUSAT also had a light up tip? or is that just in STALKER
Dunno. My problem with it is how friggin' fat it is, and it's lack of markings of any sort.
Elcan's tip lights up green in the dark, but you can't see that in daylight.
shit didn't know that, that's awesome
Always seemed like a pretty awful reticle to me...
I'll never get over that guy on the far left refposing
The Russian 1P29 has a pretty godawful reticle. At least not as bad as the SUSAT's daddy, the SUIT. Upside-down SUSAT. Which I just realized does have illumination I guess I'm an idiot sorry.
Who needs a reticule when you can just have a big honkin' arrow to point out where you'll hit probably
Who needs a reticule when you can just have a big honkin' arrow to point out where you'll hit probably
It needs to have a big label "HEY DUDE YOUR BULLETS ARE GONNA HIT HERE KINDA PROBABLY LOL"
The easy operation of the SUSAT manual: "if you can't see the guy you're trying to hit through your scope, chances are you're aiming right at him. if you still aren't hitting him, learn to compensate for distance you worthless shit" May or may not have been written by a very angry sergeant
The easy operation of the SUSAT manual: "if you can't see the guy you're trying to hit through your scope, chances are you're aiming right at him. if you still aren't hitting him, learn to compensate for distance you worthless shit" May or may not have been written by a very angry sergeant
It is a very humane sight, hiding the horrors and death of war behind a giant censor-bar so you can kill people without having to see the dirty business.
i thought the SUSAT also had a light up tip? or is that just in STALKER
SUSAT scopes are Tritium illuminated. Although considering how long they've been in service they should stop working pretty soon.

The rails ruin the look of the revolver.
The rails ruin the look of the revolver.
that ain't a revolver m8
that ain't a revolver m8
uh, yeah it is? :v:
that ain't a revolver m8
It is a handgun fed by a revolving cylinder How is that not a revolver
It is a handgun fed by a revolving cylinder How is that not a revolver
looks like a mateba to me
looks like a mateba to me
I'm fairly certain it's a Chiappa Rhino and even then, the Mateba is still a revolver, an automatic revolver, but a revolver nonetheless
[t]http://i.imgur.com/1XNvRsm.jpg [/t] [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] if only there was a way to find this stuff out. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] also, pigbear, if you bothered to read the image you'd note it's referred to as a revolver several times.

I really dig the elegant looks of a lot of mid 19th century percussion revolvers. Especially the Beaumont-Adams revolver.
Things which I was not aware of until today: The F/A-18 Hornet and F/A-18 SuperHornet are not variants of the same aircraft.
