Coolest/Ugliest Weapons V5 - Bullpup AKs are the best

What the honest actual fuck would lead anybody to believe that looks good?
Now just imagine combining the two
And without that retarded flash hider.. and without the stupid ribbing on the slide.
So essentially: if it looked like a normal glock it would have looked OK.
Well, if you get rid of the writing, ribbing, and the flash hider, you're still left with most of the slide cuts, the sights, and all of the modifications made to the frame
Now just imagine combining the two
I'd be convinced that it was not of human origin.

it's like they were already done with the glock mod when MS called them up for the promo and then they were like 'hm. ok let's just write MASTER CHIEF on the slide and then it'll be good halo merch'
Wrong.

Talked to the guy who did it way back in the thread he did it in. Basically, 'stipling' became a bit of a meme on opchan, and he cranked it to 11.
More crazy weapons from Tinseltown.

This is an interesting M8 Stuart Tank, which came from an episode of the original 1966 Batman show. It fires solid gold shells and was apparently built in the Gotham Bank vault by this episode's goons using the vault's own gold bullion as the material in under 3 days during a robbery. So basicly its a solid gold tank. And it also completely flattened a police cruiser during the episode.
Dont even ask me how this thing works. Seriously.
Flamethrowers are neat.

As long as you're not on the receiving end of it.

The M8 Light Tank doesn't exist. It's M5 Light Tank. I'm guessing you confused it with the M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage which is based on the same chassis. That's also not an M5 Light Tank in the photo, that's a M3A3 Light Tank.
Granted, the M8 HMC is pretty rad.

No no, it was neat as long as you weren't on the giving or receiving end of it. I wouldn't want to hold one of those. I've seen several videos of people using them, and in most of them, the front grip catches on fire.

Remove the front grip and dual-wield two flamethrowers like a real badass then!
You also hear them say how unpleasant it is to actually use it too in those videos. They say it is just unbearably hot.

That's a given, you're shooting a stream of flaming napalm :v:

So I mashed together a Remington Model 8 and a 1901 Rolling Block Rifle together and got this. I think it looks pretty spiffy.
The Germans and the US were doing some really interesting things with lighter than air before they shitcanned it as a whole. The US was doing experiments in making a flying aircraft carrier, which worked well but as a whole was abandoned with the airships crashed.
the difference between the US and the German airship programs
we had helium, rubber and plenty of aluminum
also lots of space to build this thing

Have a Zastava Master FLG.
Been doing some looking around on the guns in the new Call of Duty, there's a lotta silliness going on here
[t]http://www.imfdb.org/images/c/c3/CoDAW-AMR-2.jpg[/t]
Apparently "AMR" is short for "automatic pistol rifle", and they somehow managed to continue CoD's traditions of mispositioned fire selectors and assault rifles being mislabeled SMGs on a gun that they made themselves.
Also, their "KF-5" submachine gun is a Sig MPX

But made with a very strange alteration: a reciprocating charging handle. So it's effectively an ambidextrous L85a2.
In which video game does it sound like that? That metallic noise is really familiar from some video game shotgun but I cant put my finger on it.

These bullpup AR-18 conversions were the basis for the L85 rifles, kind of interesting how half the trigger link is exposed and most of the receiver extension is welded onto the strengthening stamp from the original lower. And apparently even back then they hated left handed people.
[editline]15th November 2014[/editline]
Oh great, 666.
[editline]15th November 2014[/editline]
Wait, what is with these images getting smaller? They weren't that size when I first posted them.
[editline]15th November 2014[/editline]
And now it's back to full size, I have no idea what's going on.
'Appropriated'
Did they get them from Northern Ireland or something?

Never knew just how literal the L85 = AR18 saying was. Makes it even more insane that they managed to fuck it up that bad.
Poor quality control mainly, pretty much all the working parts are copied directly, you can even still see the AR-18's influence in the features on the receiver itself like the dust cover and the magazine well. They had a pretty good design, but as you can tell (even from the early stage considering the exposed trigger link) they didn't really care what they did with it.
This is also why the modernized L85a2 has proven to be a vast improvement over the original, HK receivers, Daniel Defense hand guards, and Magpul magazines made almost all the difference.
Lets talk fictional weapons

I stumbled across that the other day as well, found this too:
http://guns.wikia.com/wiki/Sterling_Bullpup
"During the early 80's, Enfield's SA80 rifle was nearing completion and was set to be trialed with the British Army. Sterling, Enfield's main rival, soon found out about the SA80, which internally shared a lot in common with the AR-18 rifle (some of which had been made at Sterling). In fact, some early bullpup prototypes from Enfield were, in fact, Sterling-made AR-18s configured as bullpups. Somewhat irritated by Enfield's failure to acknowledge their AR-18 in creating the SA80, Sterling jokingly created a mockup rifle to "rival" the SA80, comprised entirely of AR-18 parts. The result was extremely crude, though reportedly a sound design, very similar to the SA80; Sterling was perhaps pointing out that despite the SA80's higher funding and modernized appearance, internally it was almost exactly the same as their humorous mockup."
