Not only does it look like a prop from a sci-fi movie, it also has an amazing feature.
IT HAS TWO FUCKING DRIVERS. IN THE FRONT AND IN THE BACK SO IT CAN DRIVE EITHER OF THE WAYS. THAT IS NEXT-LEVEL.

I kinda love the dynamic of the Pz. III and Pz. IV. Y'see, initially, the idea was that the IV was an infantry support vehicle and the III was the battle tank of the two.

But then they got to Russia and the Russian T-34s were kinda way too tough for that idea, so they swapped the roles around.

Their claim is that the curved design makes it print less when carried, so you can CC it without discomfort or drawing attention, assuming Brazilian April Fools doesn't come in November that is.
It looks really silly, but in a way it reminds me of those oddball semi autos you see on Forgotten Weapons, it's trying a lot of things that you really won't find elsewhere in the hope that one of them sticks.

Why's it so brilliant? 'cause you cock the gun when you pull it open instead of push it closed; which means you're doing the hardest part with the strongest motion, so closing the bolt again is a breeze. Not that it's usually hard, but this just makes it so much smoother.
I think you're getting a little confused here man, cocking on opening is standard across the board for almost every Mauser action (and coincidentally also how the original Henry lever rifle worked). The Lee Metford and Lee Enfield are the ones that cock on closing, this, combined with a lighter than average rotation and clever positioning of the bolt handle made the transition from the firing and cycling positions very fast.
Although I'd still bet the farm that you can speed fire a lever gun faster.

I wonder how much of that recoil is attributable to the shooter's odd grip position.

Probably also because of the weight distribution of it being a bullpup, the lack of weight, and having no muzzle device.
Having handled one, they aren't nose heavy like an AUG, much more balanced like a Tavor.
The "odd" grip is one favored by long range shooters, though I'm not sure what effect it's having on any selector position with no sights.

Can someone identify the foregrip?
Looks like it's one of these.
Or something very similar, anyway.
How does one hold this? :v:
It's a thumbhole stock, but on a rifle grip. Thumb in the rearward hole, trigger finger in the forward one when ready to fire, the rest on the bottom. What has me more interested is the magazine, it looks like that's inserted right into said grip at the same angle as the grip, and the rounds are then rotated into the chamber so the loaded magazine doesn't add anything to the size of the weapon. Reminds me a lot of the P90 actually.

Diagram of the internals involved in feeding, rounds face up but then the wheel rotates them just a bit more than 90 degrees and in line with the chamber.

And here's a diagram of Vladimir Putin demonstrating the magazine change on the fixed stock version, this is actually a really interesting little gun.
