I must see this. Where is the link.
http://www.happygeckosoftware.com/TA/ You can probably find it in here, a giant compilation pack of all kinds of weapon mods, put into one neat little file.
So, here's something that came up while I was looking around for some Jugoslav SKS carbines: This is an Albanian production SKS, the basic design is the same as a standard Russian model, but the chassis, magazine, and bolt carrier are altered. The only story I could find on the origin of these alterations was a claim that they were based on one of Siminov's earlier prototypes rather than the production models, but I find that a bit hard to believe as the distinguishing features (hooked charging handle, more enclosed gas tube) were not present on Sergei's earlier rifle, the AVS-36, and instead are more reminiscent of Kalashnikov rifles, not to mention these rifles were produced primarily during 1970s, so I don't see why they'd be using an unfinished design when it's known they had access to the complete one in the previous two decades.

Such a weird gun, charging handle from a MAC, mag and bolt release, forward assist from an ambi AR-15, sights off an HK21, MP5 trigger and stock, the fore end, minus the vertical grip, looks like a Spectre M4. Were the mags MP5 compatible or did H$K make them proprietary?
H$K
...Really? I mean, I don't disagree with the sentiment of the statement, but-... Really?
HK SMGII
where's the smartlink and the laser so I can plug it into my occital jack targetting rig? thanks in advance, choomba [editline]17th December 2014[/editline] but, y'know, this isn't the cyberpunk gun. no, not this one either.
He kicked back, gliding over his instruments -- a green docking diagram pulsed on his central screen -- and snagged the frame of Case's g-web. He pulled himself down and picked at the tape of his package with a thick, chipped thumbnail. "Some man in China say th' truth comes out this," he said, unwrapping an ancient, oilslick Remington automatic shotgun, its barrel chopped off a few millimeters in front of the battered forestock. The shoulderstock had been removed entirely, replaced with a wooden pistolgrip wound with dull black tape. He smelled of sweat and ganja. "That the only one you got?" "Sure, mon," he said, wiping oil from the black barrel with a red cloth, the black poly wrapping bunched around the pistolgrip in his other hand, "I an' I th' Rastafarian navy, believe it."
and ain't nobody gonna convince me otherwise.
Hard to go wrong with the old Browning automatic, [t]http://www.imfdb.org/images/c/cb/1919A6_postWW2.jpg[/t] no matter what kind of automatic it is.

It sounds cool.
What is this from? It sounds cool.
William Gibson's Neuromancer.
Neuromancer is one of the greatest western cyberpunk books to ever grace literature. Also, nice fact here, Blade Runner had debuted in theaters around the time William Gibson planned to publish it. After Blade Runner's release, he felt people would only think of Neuromancer as a ripoff. So, he ended up rewriting it multiple times and had it published two years later, and it became the signature element in the foundation of the cyberpunk genre. Back on-topic, I prefer the Deckard's blaster. I just love revolvers in general. the .347 magnum revolver from Alien Isolation, for example: (this is an image from a weapons mod of said revolver for Fallout New Vegas, but it's still the same exact model) [t]http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/130/images/57317-1-1414575629.jpg[/t]
It says .44 mag on the barrel and unica behind the cylinder, despite clearly being an overweight chipper rhino at best.
I couldn't find a better image, besides, it's a video game weapon, it won't be 100% accurate to what it's representing.
I couldn't find a better image, besides, it's a video game weapon, it won't be 100% accurate to what it's representing.
It's just odd detailing, is all. Like, they could have left off the unica and kept it nameless that'd be plenty fine, but they stuck it on which makes it stand out as strange.
Did someone say comically large revolvers? No wait, that was me.

An AR45?
the new railgun sniper is so fucking cool in bf4: that reload is so fucking cool, love break action guns.
I'd hardly call that a break action, but the Rorsch is cool as fuck; pretty OP though, it's a guaranteed 8 kills or however many rounds it starts with.
Maliwan sniper rifles from BL2 are break-action. Reload visible at 1:15.

AR SMGs with mag wells that don't make it look like a 10 year old wearing their dad's shirt are the greatest they look like they'd be hella fun at the range, too
I found this rare footage of an early-production Tiger tank on the move (taken from the driver's viewslit of another Tiger tank) Just imagine the sound of those treads squeaking and turret rotating... Tigers are fuckin' awesome.

[t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3e/Lahti-Saloranta_m26_Mikkeli_1.JPG[/t] I'd say to try and guess what it is but the URL gives it away. It's a Lahti-Saloranta M/26 LMG in 7.62x54mmR. Apparently this is the 20rd magazine but it was also manufactured with a 71rd drum.

I don't know if it's been posted already but apparently, there's a double-barrel AR-15. what is that? a piece of wood with a bullet in it, cut in half?
what is that? a piece of wood with a bullet in it, cut in half?
It's a Minnie ball, a round used in the American Civil War.

It's not like there's any shortage of stocks for those rifles.
