Is the frame ABS plastic? I hate plastic frames, they always seems so cheap compared to steel. And before all you gun nerds tell me why plastic is better, this is my opinion, I understand lightweight and all that.

Still I'd own anything walther makes, they make some nice firearms.

The iron sights are the Bradley's periscope.

Except that's one of the reasons the M231 failed so hard, you have to walk your fire onto the target with tracers and even then, the angle of the periscopes usually results in you shooting over your target's head.

It's not designed to be used outside the bradley, so it has no sights. Early versions had a little flip-up front sight for the purpose of using it off the vehicle if it got knocked out and the troops/crew wanted extra firewpower, but that idea was scrapped pretty early on.

their standard guns are essentially autocannons turned into assault rifles

well bolters whatever, thing is that they're self propelled explosive high caliber projectiles, and they use them in their standard assault rifle. wouldn't be surprised if that gun the models are holding only has 10 rounds in the magazine

stubbers, as they're called, actually still shoot traditional bullets. heavy stubbers (MGs) have changed little since our times

hell according to some sources the Browning M2 is still in service and is used to kill Space Marines

I love the PKM and god dammit I was watching Sons of Guns today... they fucked up a PKM among other things. They said "the PKM is a 3-man crew served weapon with zero maneuverability and too cumbersome" so they cut the barrel, put a Magpul retractable stock on it, and made it backpack-fed like a mini gun. When they said it was a crew served weapon, I pictured every fucking Russian that's issued a PKM firing from the hip and being a badass. Fuck Red Jacket, they are all fuckwads.

The "crew" consisted of the gunner, a guy carrying ammo, and some guy carrying a bipod and a cleaning kit (or maybe a barrel) for no reason.

Call me crazy, but I don't think this one is too bad, yeah the grips are ugly and the sight is out of place, but other than that they didn't change much, and I personally like the way that stock looks.

Also, I'm fairly sure there are some STANAG compatible AK rifles.

yeah that wasn't the finished product. Jessie James wanted the rifle and sent the foregrip to one of his artists to put "trench art" on it.
