I want to know what the thing on top is. It looks sort of like a backwards MP5 style rear sight (i know it has a specific name but i can't remember it).

I've never seen the top of one of those so I like to imagine it's got a little sonar display up there on that thing, for finding bad guys with underwater so you can shoot them more easily.
