okay so I just found out that my grandpa once got a pre 86 full auto thompson m1a1 with 6 drum mags for payment of a propane job
that lucky fuck holy shit, but he sadly sold it
[editline]asda[/editline]
and when my dad first met him, he told me he must've owned 70-80 guns, ranging from antique brown bess' used during the american revolution, a fucking gatling gun, full auto weps (with suppressors) and genuine ww2 memorabilia/ guns
what I would give to have seen that beautiful collection
Not sure why would even want an automatic revolver. They only hold 6 rounds (most do at least) so holding the trigger for more than a second would expend all your ammo, and only 1 round would be on target if it was a magnum caliber revolver.
It's kind of one of those "let's do it for science" kind of things. Practicality is not an objective.
Imagine 6 rounds of .44 being shot in less than a second. Watermelon vendors are quivering in their boots.

First shot is dead on target, every round after that is AA fire.
aim the first shot at the foot
problem solved
Almost on par with that is John Dillingers FULLY AUTOMATIC 1911 in .38super
Why would anyone seriously buy a .50 AE Desert Eagle? Not for practicality that's for damn sure, it's the fact they could look you square in the eye and say they own a fucking handcannon.
The DE is actually quite capable when used for pistol hunting or target shooting
The DE is actually quite capable when used for pistol hunting or target shooting
I'm not quite sure about the target practice. That's very expensive ammo to target practice with.

That's just fucking sexy right there.
Especially the compensator to help with the recoil and the front-grip from a tommy gun.
I'm not quite sure about the target practice. That's very expensive ammo to target practice with.
Yeah, I'd be slightly dubious about the target practise due to sheer cost of bullets, but it's certainly capable of pistol hunting.
I'd still sooner take a different gun though, there's something about it that puts me off.
Maybe it's just not Russian enough for me to want it :v:
Let's have an OTs-14 Groza

He's talking silhouette shooting, which requires a heavy grain bullet at a high velocity. Not just punching holes in paper
[editline]10th July 2013[/editline]
Desert Eagles are basically perfect for silhouette shooting.

Has anyone even fucking posted this shit yet? LOOK AT ITTTTT
I would make sweet love to each and every one of those shorty shotguns

I wouldn't

They'd make love to your wrists, and by that I mean they'd fuck them...hard.

So are other guns that don't cost an arm and a leg to own and shoot. Like the Contender pistols, or many big bore revolvers.

Contenders and revolvers aren't semi-automatic magazine fed pistols in .50 AE.

literally the best gun ever made
I know this is old, but i need to say it. It's an overused, overpriced piece of shit that jams often, is a gigantic pain in the ass to clean, and fires extremely expensive ammo that is nearly impossible to find outside of hunting on the internet for it. Unless you get a .44 or .357 model, but that defeats the purpose.
EDIT: [t]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v311/piggus/RugerM77APic1-01.jpg[/t]
Ruger M77, a very nice bolt action rifle. I own one of the older models, has the old safety rather than the POS 3 position safety. I have the .243 model, very accurate, feels very solid when shouldered, a very light trigger, and looks great with the wood.

Why? Still plays the role of a powerful semi-auto handgun when chambered in those, is much cheaper to feed and also gets you a few extra shots over a revolver.
I think it stills fits the purpose, and makes it a little less ridiculous.

it's also not shit like the ksg is so it's got that going for it too

I love the alternating tube feed, and the simplicity of disassembly. I imagine its hella expensive though.
The UTS 15 was a pretty big flop from what I've read and seen on Youtube, extremely unreliable and overall worse than the KSG in its current iteration.
yup
I love the alternating tube feed, and the simplicity of disassembly. I imagine its hella expensive though.
Yeah its pretty pricey, I've seen them going for 1,200-1,500.
Hickok to the rescue!
Yeah its pretty pricey, I've seen them going for 1,200-1,500.
Not really pricey considering what KSGs are going for if you can find them; saw one at a LGS and the retard wanted $4,200 for it. Considering it was supposed to retail for $800, its typically double that anywhere you can find it.

You end up trading off cost effectiveness and reliability for those extra shots if you pick a more common round to have one chambered in. It's just not worth it.

It's not like you're looking for a logical and effective weapon if you want to get a Desert Eagle anywho, but you might as well get it chambered in something that's not too expensive to feed.
In semi-related news, have a Micro Desert Eagle, chambered in .380

It's so cute!
