The deal with the Desert Eagle is that you can fire revolver ammunition with rimmed cartridges from a semi-automatic handgun.
That's about it.
Now gunpics.

worst stock ever
You end up trading off cost effectiveness and reliability for those extra shots if you pick a more common round to have one chambered in. It's just not worth it.
Except revolvers are hardly cost effective or efficient to begin with.

I like the part where the pistol grip is angled forward. Like, who thought that would be a good idea?
Funny thing is that forward angled grips can actually be very comfortable.. glad to see you guys still disregard things you haven't tried out.
Funny thing is, the trigger is still in the upright position, parallel to the receiver, whereas the handle is pointing forward, forcing you to do some crazy gymnastics with your finger to pull the trigger straight back. Furthermore, laying prone and using the bipod would be quite difficult with a forward handle. Fact of the matter is, on that weapon, it's a terrible design.
The Boys AT rifle isn't as bad since the rear grip would be held with your dominant hand right next to your shoulder while your left hand is used simply for your trigger finger. Still not the greatest design by a longshot, however.

Have you ever tried it yourself or are you making assumptions based on appearance?

I didn't say revolver anywhere. I was talking about the Desert Eagle, it serves no other purpose than showing off a bigass gun to impress people. Revolvers are very cost effective, Ruger Super Blackhawk, only $800-$1000, chambered in .44magnum. Desert Eagle, $1800+, chambered in either .357, .44, or .50, pain in the ass to clean, jams alot. If you don't like single action, then there's the double action Redhawk, which i think is a bit more expensive, but not as much as a Desert Eagle.

Desert Eagles aren't impressing.

You never said revolver but it was blatantly obvious you were implying it.
Desert eagles are going as low as $1,100 depending on caliber, manufacturer and condition. And $1,000+ is still expensive for an extremely outdated design thats a pain to load in comparison with any modern firearm. I personally wouldn't pay that much for such an outdated design and I wouldn't buy a desert eagle either.
And as it was said before, Desert Eagles aren't dick-compensators or meant to impress teenagers, they're for killing paper and silhouette shooting.

I disagree, they can be very well used to artificially inflate one genitalia.
Observe these gilded specimens.

While they may serve as excellent pistols for bear and target shooting, there is no denying the the very nature of owning a gold-plated .50 AE hand-cannon is meant for nothing other than pee-pee girth procurement.

You should shorten the stock, and make the foreguard thicker.
Aswell as fixing the trigger and triggerguard somehow. It looks really out of place.
Other than that I like it, looks like it'd suit cavalry well.

why bolt action if single-shot? break-barrel or rolling/falling block is vastly superior
Because it's not real-life and that was what I felt like modelling.
so you're thinking more cool factor than practicality. that works I guess.
Also I used to own a Winchester Model 1902.

Speed loaders.
Magazines are better, but really not much easier than a speed loader.
Whip the gun to the left, empty the casings, insert 6 bullets, turn, whip to the right, fasten cylinder.

You're objectively wrong there, sorry. And the whole "whip it to the left and then whip it back" move is just movie magic. Actually doing that will damage the gun over time.

No need to apologize, just prove it wrong, don't just tell me I'm wrong, what good does that do? We're talking about when you need to be fast, so you don't always whip it back and forth if you're at the range, but if you're in a situation where you have to be quick, that's the most efficient and speediest way.
And It's not like you do it a couple times and your gun falls apart, I do that with my K22 all the time, and have been for several years, and there's nothing wrong with my gun still, I don't know what shit Taurus' you're dealing with but if you maintain a well made revolver, it's not going to severely damage your gun. And Even if I'm wrong, and I'm open to being shown I'm wrong about the whole whipping business, however if only used that way in an emergency situation, it is near par with loading a magazine is all I'm saying. And revolvers aren't bad or unreliable guns regardless of whether they're outdated, they can still serve the purpose that they're made for with effectiveness. Just because there's a newer design doesn't mean the older designs can't be used effectively, at least to some degree, the way you put it, it seems as if revolvers are useless and now that slide action handguns are around revolvers can no longer shoot bullets or kill things.
Also I'm not really looking at firearms from a military point of view, more as a recreational/personal defense deal just saying.

I'm pretty sure "whipping" the revolver open or close is far from the fastest way of opening and closing it. Hell, since you're inserting the cartridges with your second hand, it's just faster to slam it close with that after putting in the last one, instead of flicking your wrist powerfully enough to close it. Especially since you'll be using that hand to support the gun in any case so moving it away to give room to "whip" the gun close slows you down.

I suppose you're right, I"m just reppin' revolvers. And I mean even if you used your hand, or have used revolvers all your life of course you'd be more proficient. For the record I still agree that semi autos are an advancement, I just also enjoy revolvers just the same.
