I remember hearing that you need a sort of leather glove on your arm when you shoot so that the gases from the cylinder don't burn you.
Unless you're holding the rifle improperly, I doubt it's a very big issue.
The judge has a piece of metal keeping fragments from flying out of the cylinder. I love the circuit judge, non-nfa shotgun with 16 inch barrel. I wonder though if a slow and shallow rifling would be better in that gun. The rifling in it just slings your shot all over the place and you end up with a donut pattern.
If a revolver rifle used the nagant revolver method of firing, there wouldn't really be any chance of getting burns on your arms, right?

There needs to be a modern break-open revolver that is actually produced. Goddamnit rex, if only you survived.

best looking m16
rex was too sexy to ever be produced, it made all other guns feel insecure
I know WHY it wasn't produced- the whole can't-import-russian-guns-into-US thing- It's just a damn shame that it didn't survive at all. Would have loved to seen a few videos of it in action. But now it's just a cawwadoody gun. God damnit.
Why would you want a break action when swing-outs are more than adequate?
Because style.
Why would you want a break action when swing-outs are more than adequate?
its cool + if super 100 percent efficiency was what you lived by then you might as well get a regular ol magzaine-fed pistol
Why would you want a break action when swing-outs are more than adequate?
Iirc, it also had an ejection system for the spent casings.
Iirc, it also had an ejection system for the spent casings.
yeah but so do most revolvers [editline]19th July 2013[/editline] and a lot of break actions already have extractors

I have a Walther P-38 that my grandfather snagged off a German he killed in WWII. Engraved on the side was his name, "Johnny Z". I'll post it later.

Clean the grime off of it using steel wool.
Clean the grime off of it using steel wool.
Whats sad about that is the fucker who did it asked in our firearms thread in GD, and we explicitly told him not to use steel wool.
