There it is. We had it cleaned and fired it awhile ago. We might take it to the range sometime soon and fire it off again.

Sorry, not the best pictures.

literally the coolest revolver there on the bottom
I love the 2006M, but it pretty much is the weablade of guns

2006M > Rhino
[editline]20th July 2013[/editline]
oh also the mateba in Ghost in the Shell is a mix up of the 2006M and the Model 6 Unica, not a straight 2006M
then again basically every gun in the film is a frankengun
2006M = Rhino
They're both cool as shit.

Is it just me, or do XCRs look a lot like AR-15s with side-charging uppers?
[QUOTE=asteroidrules;41527523]Is it just me, or do XCRs look a lot like AR-15s with side-charging uppers?[/QUOTE]
uses AR stock and grip and magazines, but other than that it's got more in common with a SCAR than anything else
Quite a few of modern assault rifles use M-16/AR-15 ergonomics. Mostly because thats what just about everyone, hold for Ivan and the Warsaw pact countries, has been using for the past 60 years or so.

a modern AR with nugget ergonomics would find its public I think

The XCR employs a Kalashnikov type, gas operated action with the bolt carrier attached to a long-stroke gas piston; the gas chamber is located above the barrel.
The Robinson Armament XCR is easy to break down for maintenance and features fewer parts than its key competitors, the FN SCAR and Bushmaster/Magpul ACR
Guts look kinda like an AK/FN FNC/SCAR

I know its design isn't really related to the AR-15, it's just to me the ergonomics look very similar, as does the whole upper/lower receiver system, so to me it looks a lot like an AR with a side charging upper.
Also as far as the lower receiver goes, the SCAR has pretty much the same ergonomics as the AR as well.

Like I said earlier, most modern assault rifles use AR ergonomics because thats what everyone is used to. That way if the weapon passes trials and it gets issued, they don't have to do serious retraining for active troops. That also goes for field stripping the firearm for cleaning. Even my SG556 has an upper and lower that breaks down just like an AR. The upper is disassembled differently but still.

^ This exactly; the XCR, Bushmaster/Remington ACR and SCAR were all in the US individual carbine trials

The aug is one of a very few bullpup rifles I find visually appealing. Especially with the longer barrel.

You've got a point, my comparison probably just comes down to the fact that I saw side-charging AR uppers before I first saw the XCR, I bet if I'd seen that ARAK-21 upper that got posted a while back before I'd seen an ACR I'd be saying the same about the ACR.
augs feel amazing, had one at my local funshop once and it's very comfortable.
I have a rather long list of issues I have with the AUG
[editline]21st July 2013[/editline]
Don't get me wrong, it's a great rifle, but designs have massively overtaken it since 1979
AUG HBAR > all
