Where have you been?
Listen without drugs.
That's kinda hard to achieve, considering Pink Floyd is a drug itself and all...

Mixing various drugs can have adverse side effects.
Someone once said that drugs bring you away from your soul.
That someone was me. :smug:
I sold my soul to Roger.
But in all seriousness, I don't care. If you want to do drugs then do as you will, nobody is stoppin' you.

except the cops
Not really.
Don't do drugs.
Do women instead.
Unless they have STDs.
I wonder if it's possible to skydive while doing it. Must be. :smug:
Skydive while listening to Obscured By Clouds while tripping on DMT.

Make sure you're hooked onto someone though, because there might be an issue with pulling the cord.
Does anyone else really like Obscured By Clouds?
The title track and When You're In are fantastic
I like a few songs off it, but there are a lot of songs don't like or don't really care for off it.
Yes corky.
It is unbelievably good, i mentioned it before but You may have disregarded it due to me saying it was better than The Wall. :downs:
Posting The Wall movie, in case you haven't seen it yet or want to see it again.

I love the animated segments in that film. :3:

I can't wait for the Wall Live in May, because all the animations have been revamped to be three times as wide

There's a gif of that somewhere.
I didn't save it though.
I have decided I only really like Wish You Were Here from what I've heard so far
Instead of covers of Pink Floyd, how about some by the members themselves:
Purple Rain

Knocking on Heaven's Door

Give the album another listen next week. Sometimes it takes a few listens to get into an album. I was like that with Animals, and now it is one of my favorite albums.
Also, don't go into listening with preconceptions of what the album is going to sound like.
No I mean the album as a whole, not the song
Originally when I heard Pink Floyd's Time, before I started listening to them, I thought to myself "Meh, I don't really like it"
Then, later, I listened to it again, I thought to myself "Well, I guess its pretty nice"
Then, still later, I listened to it again, I sang out loud "TICKING AWAY, THE MOMENTS THAT MAKE UP A DULL DAY!"

Oh, well don't worry too much about that. Enjoy Wish You Were Here until another album catches your ear.
I'm not sure if other people are the same, but it may take me a little while to enjoy something, especially whole albums. I'll usually start off as like "well I like a few songs off that album", and then the more and more I listen, the more and more I like it. This was extremely true of The Final Cut, I hated it the first couple of listens, but I started to like it more and more.

The song is so incredible. It just moves me so much, especially the guitar solo.
