Link me something from their live catalogue and if I'm bothered to get it, I will :3:
Also Dream Theater's Score.
Haven't heard that yet, actually I should get on that
Since we are talking about live Floyd, my dad gave me Shine On Live not long ago as a DVD :v:
My friend got Pulse on DVD for Christmas last year It's awesome

The PULSE album may not be worth listening to, but the PULSE dvd...Now that's a whole other story.

No seriously, some of the ballads are pretty awesome.
I still have my cassette tape copy somewhere.
Listened to Meddle. First full Pink Floyd I've really listened to. Played through The Wall before, but never really paid attention. My dad says that, when he was a surfer hippie, he watched the first video footage of surfing under a wave like, through the tunnel bit of it, which was slowed down with Echoes played in the background. Wish I could watch that, it sounds pretty great.
hhhhnnnnggg.jpg The Trial is such an amazing song, I love it to death.
I feel awful that the only Pink Floyd music I remember is The Wall. My friends haven't even heard of Pink Floyd, much less any rock operas.
Played Ummagumma all the way through, and I must say it's growing on me. Both discs. :buddy:
Here's some crappy webcam photos of my Meddle vinyl (don't have my camera with me): Outside Inside Side 1 Side 2 Proof of Ownership:
Alright then, thanks to the idea (or order) by Kyle, I have begun listening to every Pink Floyd album from start to finish in chronological order.
I listened to Animals from start to finish for the first time last night And again today And will be doing so again in a few minutes
Played Ummagumma all the way through, and I must say it's growing on me. Both discs. :buddy:
Great album. My store has it for a tenner.
Are you implying that Pink Floyd gets boring? :colbert:
Over time it would, all artists lose their original flavor eventually
Over time it would, all artists lose their original flavor eventually
It's up to the listener really. I tend to rotate what I hear. Right now I'm on Ummagumma for a while, in terms of Floyd.
I listened to Animals from start to finish for the first time last night And again today And will be doing so again in a few minutes
hahaaaaa, charade you are possibly the best line ever
hhhhnnnnggg.jpg The Trial is such an amazing song, I love it to death.
The animated sequence in the movie is amazing, too. :allears: Or may ruin your perspective on the song, depending on your tastes.
